Track Kinetic Ruby

Track continues the popular Kinetic series in the Track Kinetic Ruby. This ball features the modified Kinetic core which has a low RG, medium differential, and low mass bias. These components allow this ball to save its energy longer but use it quicker. Track has combined this core with the QR-6 Solid coverstock which produces a strong down lane motion. Due to the angular characteristics of this ball it is a good match for heavier or longer oil patterns. This mid performance ball with a mid performance price and an asymmetric core is hard to beat.

The Ruby and Emerald are both gems indulge yourself

Kinetic Ruby (Box Surface) - Pin above the bridge CG to the right diagonally of my ring finger positive axis point is 4 3/8 right 1/2 up.
Fresh House Patterns and 45ft Sport Pattern
I was able to use the Kinetic Ruby on two different fresh house tournament patterns, I am extremely impressed with the length and the recovery I am able to get from the Kinetic Ruby even with the box surface. After about 6 games it had a little lane polish but that didn't stop the reaction from being smooth and arcing at the end of the pattern. Even on the shots that the Kinetic Ruby hit the friction earlier or sooner the motion was not violent the ball stood up and made that smooth reaction, which was an eye opener for me. Being able to use the Ruby on a fresh pattern as well as when the lanes started to breakdown shows me its versatility right out of the box. I have both Kinetic Ruby/Kinetic Emerald drilled the same and the difference for me is the Kinetic Ruby is not as sharp once it hits the friction. I also put both bowling balls at the same surface to make sure I was able to see how they perform side by side. These two bowling balls have impressed me and I put them to the test on a 45ft sport pattern to see how they performed. Smooth overall stronger continuous arc versus earlier sharper continuous hook this is was my result after using the Ruby and Emerald on the sport pattern. The Ruby was the smoother yet overall stronger of the two. The Ruby also allowed me to play straighter for the first couple games and as the pattern started to move me left that smooth overall hook was really needed to dig through the volume of oil and still retain the energy to finish through the pins.

This ball is a home run!

Love the motion of this ball. It is stronger than the Kinetic Emerald overall. This ball reminds me of the Heat X-treme, but even better. Everyone needs to check out this ball!

Track Kinetic Ruby

I have thrown the Track Kinetic Ruby, Track's newest MP bowling ball. I have used it on a few THS and 2 patterns. After loving the Kinetic Emerald, having the Ruby was a must. To compare, the Ruby starts up a little earlier, and is a tad less responsive down the lane. They are both drilled pin up, CG slightly left, factory surfaces (I am a lefty). This makes them the perfect duo in your bag, especially for the price point. If you want quality for the dollar, look no further, this is where you should be...

Track Kinetic Ruby!!

This new release from Track, is a great add on, to the trusted growing Track line. It has more traction through the oil then it's original release, the Kinetic Emerald. The Ruby will hook about 5-7 boards more, which to me translates into finding the oil up front on the lane and moving left with my feet so that the ball doesn't burn up to early. I feel if you have drier lanes, the front of your lanes are naturally drier and or you like to play them a little straighter then the Emerald will work well for you. But if you have some more oil on the lanes where you bowl, throw it a little faster and like to play straight or if you just need a ball to start up more and have great continuation thru the pins, then the Kinetic Ruby is going to be a great fit for you. This will be one of those balls that you'll be able to use a lot in league and also have great use for it on a fair amount of the harder sport shots in tournament play. It's going to be hard to find this much hook for the price. Great price. Great motion. Great ball!!

Very smooth roll

If you need a ball that gives you a very predictable smooth roll and very forgiving there's no doubt in my mind this is the ball!

Backend strong but controlled - continuous, Cleaner than you'd think, Strong mid-lane
Best Uses:
THS, Medium to Long sport shots - can handle oil

All I can say is...WOW!

The Track Kinetic Ruby is a remarkable bowling ball - I have already drilled 2 of these with very different layouts - and I can already tell this is going to become one of my all-time favorites. The Ruby is exactly what you would expect if you have the Kinetic Emerald - a solid coverstock that permits earlier hook in the mid-lane, but still has a really strong backend motion.

I chose a Ruby with a 4-5" pin to drill my pin-up ball - which places the pin over 1" above my ring finger. This layout permits me to use this ball in similar situations that I like to use the Emerald - but when there is more oil downlane. My other Ruby is a 2-3" pin and the pin is placed almost 1" below the ring finger - and rivals my Cyborg for midlane strength - but with a bigger backend motion than my Cyborg.

For a mid-performance ball, I do not think you will find a better value than the Kinetic series - and the Kinetic Ruby is going to be the 1st ball out of my bag on league nights and on many sport shots. This ball needs to be in your bag, if not 2 of them!!!

Drilled the Ruby with my benchmark drilling and will use as the first ball out of the bag on fresh conditions. I really like the motion I am seeing as the ball has the same motion as my Mako only a couple boards less. Nice ball for the price point.

Great solid!!

Great ball! I drilled mine pin down and I bowled on a fresh pattern. I was pleasantly surprised with the motion and the reaction. Ball was strong, continuous, didn't overreact and went through the pins phenomenally! Compared to my Kinetic Emerald, my Emerald gives me more length down lane and tends to be sharper in the back. The Emerald is oil sensitive at times and I didn't find that to be the case with the Ruby. I would suggest saving a spot in the bag for the Ruby. Great solid!
