Brunswick Defender Solid
The Brunswick Defender Solid high-performance ball uses proven ball technology and advances it! The Portal X core is the previously used Prism core with a dense flip block added to the bottom. This addition adjusts the location of the mass and creates a higher RG and differential which increases the down-lane motion of the bowling ball. The ACT 3.0 Solid Reactive coverstock was engineered to make the mid-lane and backend hook more powerful. These two enhancements along with the attractive colors of this ball are sure to increase scores.

Pros:
longer oil, smooth motion
Cons:
needs oil

I Like This Ball on Longer Patterns
The Defender is that rolly-type ball that is great on longer oil patterns and isn’t going to give you that hockey-shape reaction on the backend.
I’ve had an opportunity to throw this ball on a typical house shot, as well as several PBA patterns. This ball gets down the lane well, but doesn’t burn up in the front. I like it on patterns where the volume is greater than 27 mLs and longer than 42 feet. This ball worked well on PBA Shark for example and didn’t make me feel as if I was going to lose the pocket given my lower rev rate and slower ball speed.

The Brunswick Defender Is A New Release From Brunswick A High End Ball That Really Gets The Through The Oil... Definitely First Ball Out Of My Bag For League Or A Tournament... Very Versatile Bowling Ball For Different Types Of Oil Pattern And Volumes. Good For All Types Of Rev Rates Especially For Those With Lower Rev Rates Or Alot Of Speed... Definitely One Of My Favorites Recently Been Throwing It Alot Able To Stay In The Track For Quite A While Then Able To Move To The Left And Play An Inside Line To The Pocket With The Same Drive Through The Pin Deck. The Color Scheme On The Ball Is Very Appealing As Well And Really Looks Great Going Down Lane. This Is Definitely A Great Ball For A Tournament Bowler Especially When Lanes Are Fresh Or Heavily Volumed Patterns. Make Sure To Go Visit Your Local Pro Shop And Order One Today! The Defender of Backend Reaction on Heavier Oil
The Defender is a great stronger ball for slicker conditions. It has enough length to be more versatile than the earliest of heavier oil balls but still has plenty of midlane hook. This ball is my step up when balls like the Knockout Black/Blue aren't angular enough and are not strong enough. The Defender also is versatile enough to see play on the house shot and will see some sport shot use as well. This is a stronger Prism Warp with greater versatility. The Defender is a heavier oil ball with some length and recovery on the back part of the lane.

There's no defense in bowling, but there is a DEFENDER
This ball is a definite upgrade from the Prism warp, which is saying something. Very strong traction ball with a continuous motion due to the flip block.

The Defender is here
Everything about this ball is amazing. The Defender is Brunswick new strong asymmetrical solid. Compared to the knockout B/B it’s going to be stronger in the mid lane and backend, compared to the prism you will see a strong backend motion.
I drilled mine 45x4.5x45 best used on mid to heavy oil lanes. I see using this ball in both the house shot and sport shots bag.

Question:
How does this ball work me I am a fullroller
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
You would just need to let your driller know that you are a full roller and they can drill a layout that works for you. This ball is designed for heavy oil and it will have a smoother arcing hook down the lane.
