Track Mako Attack

The Mako shark is one of the most intelligent and most deadly sharks in the water. That is why Track named this high performance ball the Track Mako Attack. This predator of a ball was designed to attack the backend of the lane when facing medium to heavy lane conditions. This ball utilizes the QR-10 Hybrid coverstock which offers an angular motion on the backend with more length than the solid version of the coverstock therefore more angle of attack. this coverstock is paired with the i-Core 2.0 core which is a dual density core that allows Track more control over the RG and differential.

great compliment to Mako, very clean for high performance ball, very strong through the pins
Best Uses:
THS, medium sport shots
Bottom Line:

Paradox Trilogy Cover + Mako Core = WOW!

The Track Mako Attack stores energy well through the heads for a high-performance ball and makes a strong, continuous motion through the pins. It is a perfect marriage of coverstock and core. The Paradox Trilogy QR-10 Hybrid cover is on this ball - is a very clean coverstock that wants to hook. With the Paradox core, the Trilogy looked great rolling on the lane - but for me - did not go through the pins as well as I hoped. However, with the Mako core, the same coverstock rolls clean, and explodes through the pins with a strong continuation.

The Mako Attack is going to be a great ball for both league and sport shots, particularly on things like PBA Chameleon.

Definitely worth adding to your arsenal!

The Mako Attack definitely gave me some length down the lane in comparison to my original Mako. It gave me a nice angular, continuous motion that didn't over react when entering the pins. It was slightly oil sensitive for me which tells me it's probably not a ball I would use early on the fresh. This one will be a "ball down" choice when the lanes start to break down. I'm very happy with my Track Mako Attack! :)

I drilled the Mako Attack with my benchmark drilling and will use it when the lanes break down and I have to start moving left. This ball gets down lane and it flips very nicely off the spot. This ball is a great compliment to the Mako when the lanes dry up. If you liked the Mako this is a must for your bag.

Mako (Reaction) Attack (Finish)

Mako Attack (Box Surface and 500/3000 and 2000/3000) - Modified "Rico Layout" Pin in the palm x hole about 6 inches from the pin near the MB.

House Shot Patterns Fresh and Broken Down

The Mako Attack is a really good compliment to the Mako I don't see a huge difference between the two of them but they are different as far as shape. Reading the lane I have the Mako being a little earlier but both are still smooth and continuous on the backend with tremendous finish through the pins. I tried the Mako Attack out of box and I couldn't believe the amount of angles I could play with it I was getting a really good feel for the reaction and the finish through the pins. I rolled with it at another bowling center and it was not getting around the corner like I wanted it to. Prior to the next week I put the 500/3000 surface on it which made the Mako Attack earlier then I wanted it to be. That gave me a different reaction that I might use later on down the line but not for that house pattern. I then put 2000/3000 on it and now I am able to see a consistent reaction on various house patterns. That tells me a few things versatile cover as far as surface adjustment and Modified "Rico Layout" in this type of ball is not bad for me. I still have to try it in a symmetrical bowling ball. I have seen various styles use the Mako Attack if you're looking for something to compliment the Mako or if you never had the Mako the Mako Attack is a great option, the reaction and finish are true to its name.
