Question:

How is this ball compared to the white hot badger? Should I expect more traction from the S72R cover tan the S71?

Answer:

The coverstocks are numbers to show their strength so the S72 is stronger than S71 if they have the same finish. You also have to factor in the weight block too but just going from coverstocks the S72R would be a little stronger than S71.

Question:

Is this a good start ball for a beginner

2/2/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This ball is an upper mid performance meant for medium oil conditions so it will have a pretty strong reaction. If you were just starting out it could be okay for you if you are at least in a league. If you were bowling more for fun and on open bowling nights then the lanes may not have much oil and this could be a little too strong to use on those nights.

You may want to check with your local driller on this. They can watch you bowl and tell from your release which layout would best compliment this ball.
