The 900Global Volt upper-mid performance bowling ball uses the S72R Pearl coverstock which is the S72 Pearl coverstock with a catalyst added. This coverstock was designed to balance the ball's traction in oil and increase its performance at the backend. The Volt uses the Charged Symmetric Core which has a flip block on the bottom that will increase the change of direction at the breakpoint.
This ball has the strongest back end motion that I have seen out of any ball in the 900 Global lines. It is super clean through the fronts and makes an extremely strong back end motion. It is perfect for later in the block when the lanes are fried and when you need to get the ball down lane. This ball takes the core from the eon and adds the flip block that you see in the flux. Just like the flux it gives the ball added length and added back end motion. This ball is a must for longer format tournaments or even league play when you want to open up the lane and create more angle.
The 900 Global Volt
Love this one, another two piece design which translates to hitting power.
Medium conditions all the way for all styles of play. In some cases it could be the first ball out of your bag. A beautiful controlled roll from start to finish. The Volt makes it easy to read the lanes and transition game after game. What I like about the Volt is I didn=t have to move my feet very much as the lanes started to dry. A great ball for spotty conditions, wet dry conditions, and even when the heads start to burn a little. Here is my layout for my 16mph speed plus other VLS information for medium lane conditions. Pin to Pap 4.5" Psa to Pap 3.5" and Pin Buffer 1.375.
Everyone will need one of these.

How is this ball compared to the white hot badger? Should I expect more traction from the S72R cover tan the S71?7/17/2019 - By Ismael
The coverstocks are numbers to show their strength so the S72 is stronger than S71 if they have the same finish. You also have to factor in the weight block too but just going from coverstocks the S72R would be a little stronger than S71.7/17/2019 - By Bowling.Com Staff
What would the difference be between a 15 and a 14 pound volt the numbers change quite a lot.11/7/2019 - By Bowl more
The only difference would be the RG and RG Dif. Here are the numbers for you to compare: 15lbs - RG 2.56 , Diff 0.047 / 14lbs - RG 2.64 , Diff 0.023.11/8/2019 - By Bowling.Com Staff
Is this a good start ball for a beginner2/2/2020 - By D.j
This ball is an upper mid performance meant for medium oil conditions so it will have a pretty strong reaction. If you were just starting out it could be okay for you if you are at least in a league. If you were bowling more for fun and on open bowling nights then the lanes may not have much oil and this could be a little too strong to use on those nights.2/6/2020 - By Bowling.Com Staff

You may want to check with your local driller on this. They can watch you bowl and tell from your release which layout would best compliment this ball.2/11/2020 - By Bowling.Com Staff
