The Brunswick Fanatic SS boasts to have a strong symmetric core (that is what the SS stands for). This ball takes the Dual Flip Symmetric Low RG Core and pairs it with the Relativity Hook Coverstock to offer a ball has a fast-revving ball motion with easy length, a strong mid-lane traction as well as awesome continuation and great hitting power on medium to heavy oil conditions.
I drilled this pin below the bridge. The ball was great from the start, read the mid lanes and made a very smooth, controllable turn to the pocket. Bowled on a challenge pattern and hit it lightly with 1000 abralon before we started and it really gave it even more punch on the back.. finished that set 259, 235, 239..Amazed on how it takes to surface changes. Layout: Full Roller, length and backend; Specs: 18 mph, 500 RPM; Lefty Two-Hander. Being a huge fan of the Fanatic line, this ball had a lot to live up to and it did just that. This Fanatic SS floats through the fronts but then delivers an extremely strong midlane motion and backend continuation. Compared to the Blue Fanatic, the SS is 2 feet earlier and much more continuous on the backend. When the Blue is too long, or the BTU isnt enough on the back, you can go to the SS and really control the oil pattern. Very strong ball for the price point! -Justin Knowles, Brunswick Regional Staff Member

The Fanatic SS is the stronger predictable brother to the Fanatic and the Fanatic BTU. It has an earlier roll than the Fanatic with far more hook than the BTU. This is a great house shot or sport shot ball for when there is a good bit of lane oil present and you want to play that straighter angle. I find that it is a little earlier than my Forest Green Quantum and covers a few more boards on the fresher slicker conditions. With its quick revving forgiving symmetrical core, lower rev players will surely love the earlier roll this ball provides. Stronger handed players are also likely to love the control that this ball gives at the breakpoint. If you're looking for a stronger rolling symmetrical ball with loads of value, checkout the Fanatic SS!
Great addition for my bag. Layed this ball out different compared to other layouts. Wanted it for more up the lane usage. 35 x 4 x 45 is the layout. P3 weight hole. Incredible early motion bowling ball. Reads early and lays to the pocket. Hits like a tank. Highey recommend this ball.
The Fanatic SS is SUPER STRONG. The SS is a strong symmetrical and the strongest in the Fanatic line. The SS reads the midlane about 2 feet sooner than the Melee hook and has more continuation on the backend. If you are looking for a strong symmetrical, the Fanatic SS is the ball for you.
