This product is amazing, but I’m on my second pair bc the strap where it goes thru the loop keeps breaking after about 150 or so games. But it beats buying a new $200 pair of shoes just buy a $40 protective sole.

This is intended for the shoes that have removable traction soles. Because the SST 6 does not have a removable traction sole, this would not be necessary. However, if you wanted to put this on the "slide" foot to make the shoes so that they have traction on both feet, this could work for that. But that would give you traction on both shoes so it would only be useful if you want to plant when you throw instead of slide.
Will this work on a mens size 8 shoe?
At this time, the size small would be the size for size 8. Unfortunately at this time we are only offering medium and large. Medium size will fit mens size 9-12.
Hi Dexter SST6 and the sole is rolling back on my drag foot. Will this keep that from happening?
This is for the player who needs extra protection for their push-off shoe during aggressive play. Full rubber sidewall construction provides extra protection from sole separation caused by toe or side foot drag.

How do these compare to the Dexter THE 9 HT BOA Black/Colorshift Unisex?
This powerstep replacement pad will not work with the Dexter THE 9 shoes unfortunately. This will work on SST models that have a removable traction sole and it helps to keep your traction sole fixed to the shoe for bowlers who have a lot of power when they push off. The Dexter THE 9 shoes have a toe clip which keeps the pads in place so they are more secure than the SST models before it that did not have a clip.
