The SST 6 Hybrid BOA has impeccable functional and stylish details such as the removable heels and athletic stitched lines. The shoe features removable slide soles and heels. Dexter is implementing the BOA Lacing System in the SST 6 Hybrid BOA. The BOA system started out in snowboarding boots and has evolved into hiking boots, golf shoes, work shoes, and now bowling shoes! This innovative lacing system contains three main parts: a micro-adjustable dial, super-strong lightweight laces, and low friction lace guides. These three parts work together to ensure the best fit. Grab a pair of these new SST 6's and never have to worry about your shoes again!
Which foot is slide foot
Am left handed. Do I need to purchase right foot slide sole separately? Good for long toe drag?
If you are left handed then you usually slide on the right foot. This shoe is left handed so it will have the slide soles set up on the right foot. The shoe has a hybrid style toe protector but no bowling shoe is made for a long toe drag. Dragging your toe will wear down the shoes more quickly and is not covered under warranty unfortunately.
What would be the width on these?
I'm a lefty and use the elite atlas universal shoe. I have a decent slide in those shoes. I'm afraid that I will stick on my left foot since the sole is different. Obviously I slide with my right foot, but would these have any issue with that as far as when I'm in my approach?
There is a bit of a learning curve when you come from universal shoes to a left hand specific shoe. You may not be aware of how much you shuffle your feet and for some bowlers who do shuffle their feet the left shoe may catch too much. But for a lot of bowlers, moving to this type of shoe ends up being a better move in the long run and you will get more balance on your release as you adjust to pushing off with a traction sole. You may try a couple of practice runs by keeping a regular sneaker on your left foot and putting your bowling shoe on your right foot and just see how it feels when you go through your normal swing.
Why don't this shoes come in size 6?done people have small feet
Do the shoes run small? I need a size 12. Do you have them in stock?
If you have not had a Dexter shoe before then it is hard to say how this shoe will fit compared to other brands. I would not recommend a closeout shoe if you have never tried on this brand or owned a Dexter before. We are showing to currently be sold out of the size 12 also but you may want to get a model that is not on closeout so that you may return or exchange it if the size does not fit perfectly.
You have for lift handed bowlers
Could you let me know the width of this shoes in inch or centimeters?
Unfortunately we do not have a size chart in inches or centimeters. If you have had Dexter shoes before then you may get this shoe in the same size you ordered before but if you have never had a Dexter shoe you may want to get a Dexter shoe that is not on closeout because we cannot do returns or exchanges on closeout shoes.
