Motiv Jackal Flash

The legend of the Jackal continues with the Motiv Jackal Flash Pearl. This high-performance bowling ball is the strongest asymmetric pearl ball that Motiv has created to date. The Jackal Flash was built to be cleaner through the front of the lane with a quicker response on the backend. This is achieved by combining the Predator V2 weight block with the Infusion HV Pearl Reactive coverstock and finished with a 5000 LSP. This combination offers continuation with max revs and track flare while providing length and a strong angle that is needed when making adjustments on heavy oil patterns. This ball was designed to be an early transition ball for heavier oil but it also pairs well with rev dominant bowlers as the first ball out of their bag. Bowlers that are more speed dominant who usually struggle when throwing a pearl ball will find the Jackal Flash to be extra versatile on moderate conditions.

Question:

If i add more polish to make it like glossy look, can it perform in long medium oil?

8/24/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This comes out of the box with a pretty smooth polished finish already so it will have decent length already. However, even with a polished finish this ball is still rated more for heavier oil conditions. If the pattern is longer it should still be strong enough to come back on the backend. I would not suggest this for more medium conditions because it will be too strong for those conditions.

Question:

How does this ball compare or differ from the Motiv Trident Abyss?

9/4/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This would actually be a closer comparison to the Trident Nemesis. The Abyss has a duller finish on a solid cover and the Nemesis is a pearl cover with a polished finish which is what the Jackal Flash has.

Question:

How is the Flash compared to the Alpha

9/10/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The key difference is the Flash is a pearl coverstock with a polished finish to go longer on the lanes with a sharper backend. The Alpha is a solid cover with a duller finish to read the lanes earlier and have a smoother arcing hook down the lane.

Question:

Is this ball stronger than original trident.

9/17/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

Because the Jackal Flash is designed for more length it would not have a high of an overall hook potential as the Trident. The Jackal Flash has a stronger backend but the Trident have a higher hook potential overall.

Question:

whats the difference from this ball to the forge fire ?

9/21/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Jackal Flash will have a pearl cover and a more polished cover to give it more length and a sharper backend while the Forge Fire is a hybrid cover with a 4000 grit finish to give it a little earlier read and smoother reaction. The Jackal Flash is still going to have a stronger overall hook because the Jackal series is a little higher performance than the Forge line.

Question:

whats different from the flash to the jackal gold ? thanks

10/8/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This ball will give you more length because of the out-of-box finish and this will make for a sharper backend hook than the Golden Jackal. The Golden Jackal had a 4000 grit finish which help smooth out the backend some.

Question:

Which ball is stronger in backend nuclear cell or jacket flash

11/21/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

Both balls have a strong backend so it is hard to say which is stronger. Both are high performance balls and both can handle up to heavy oil lane conditions. The weight block on the Nuclear Cell reacts a little later but the finish on the Jackal Flash goes later so it really is a toss up.

Question:

What is the difference between the jackal ghost and jackal flash?

3/7/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The big difference would be in the coverstock and the finish out of the box. The Flash has a pearl cover with a polished finish to give it great length and a sharp backend. The Ghost will have a solid coverstock with a duller finish to help it read more in the midlane for a smoother arcing hook.
