Weber CupTeam America won the 13th annual 888Poker.com Weber Cup punishing the pins in the Sunday afternoon session, they won all six matches to reach the required 17 points needed for victory.

The margin of 17-7 set a record for widest margin of victory in the history of the Weber Cup.  Team Europe proved to be no match for Team America, led by Tommy Jones, Bill O'Neill, Mike Fagan and Captain Chris Barnes.

When asked about the victory Captain Chris Barnes said, "It was a really good day for us! It was very close at one point but no one saw us going 9 in a row. The guys really hit strike on Saturday night, and with shorter patterns today we went with balls that went earlier. Europe had long rollers and that was the difference."

Team America had control virtually from start to finish having a commanding lead throughout that was capped off by Jones and O'Neill in their doubles match.  It was an all together impressive performance that had the american bowlers almost puzzled at their utter domination of the europeans.

“We’re all good friends and we all bowl in the international team and communication is the key. It’s always good fun bowling together especially when you’re winning.” said Chris Barnes

“You never imagine beating these guys that many games in a row but we’ve had some breaks and they’ve not bowled as well as they could have,” O'Neill added.
