If you think that PBA West Region competitor J.T. "Action" Jackson looks very familiar to you there's a good reason for that.  You see "Action" Jackson is not only known for the action he gets on his ball as a professional bowler, he happens to be a professional actor as well.

Jackson who is 35 years old and lives in Sherman Oaks, California bowled in the PBA Tournament of Champions, after winning the West Region title.  He has also become well-known for his appearance in commercials with companies like Honda and CDW, which also features NBA legend Charles Barkley.  He has also been in numerous national television series.

Friday the 13th of April Jackson's independent film "Bud Z" hits selected theaters.

Clearly Jackson has been keeping busy being a pro bowler and actor is no easy task.  Jackson has said that last year he was lost, but he has been more focused on his game this year.  Working continuously on his bowling onslaught, he has seen the rewards.

Funny that Jackson only started bowling in 2003 when Kevin Hart and a few other comedians went bowling one night.  The friendly game got a little bit competitive and from their Jackson was hooked.  He says he is still learning what equipment to to use plastic, urethane or resin, but  Jackson has come a long ways since 2003, that's for sure.
