How many times have you had one of those days where everything bothers you? Where everyone is irritating you and it is stressing you out so badly that you get upset at the smallest things? You suddenly realize, after making a lot of people upset with you, that this isn't who you are and you need to go find yourself again.

When I have these days, or days like these ones, I know instantly that it's time for me to hit my poor man's country club and start knocking em' down. I don't know about you, but when I am bowling there is no greater feeling in the world. You forget all your outside problems, your worries, and you calm down and just enjoy the amazing sport of bowling.

Another reason why it's such a great stress relief, is because when you bowl you are putting forth energy. Enough energy to not even realize you are working out. It's said that 3 games of bowling is equivalent to walking 1 mile, and if this is the case you could be walking three to four miles every time you bowl. And everyone should know that exercising relieves stress!

The next time you are having just one of those days, don't think about it and head to your bowling alley and strike away that stress! Take some friends and socialize. Bowling is a great sport for the social aspect. Or if you prefer to go alone and get some time to yourself and work on your game, then that is just perfect as well. Either way, the bowling alley is the best place for a great stress relief.
