The Flux Pearl is a strong and lively addition to the Tour Engineered 900 Series line. I like it! Let's take a closer look.
900 Global took the proven S72R Coverstock and added a new catalyst. This Pearl version brings a well- defined motion on the back end. It's predictable yet delivers a vicious look when it turns towards the pins. The 1500 grit polished finish worked well on a THS and after tweaking the surface from 500 grit polished up to 3000 grit polished this cover proved its versatility for any medium oil conditions. This cover delivered for me!
The Amplify Core is an asymmetrical, two-piece design. Like I found with the Flux Solid, I am a big fan of this core's ability to store its energy while rolling down the lane, then exploding upon impact. Further, I enjoyed the dancing frenzy of the pin reaction this true two-piece design brings. Being on the lower side of rev. rate, this core helps immensely when you need that little extra "ten-pin" carry to get you through that tenth frame.
In closing, the Flux Pearl is a workhorse you can count on. Whether on its own or as a compliment to the Flux Solid, this ball delivers results. Try yours today!

The Tour Engineered 900 Series Flux Pearl is Awesome!! As with the original Flux, the Flux Pearl has the S72R cover and the amplify asymmetric core with a flip block. However, we have added a catalyst that will greatly increase the performance on the backend. As a mid to low rev player I was standing five boards left with my feet, four boards left on the lane with my initial target but still using the same break point 40 feet down the lane. The two-piece core also gives the Flux great continuation through the pins. I tested the ball on a 41 feet THS. Ball layout on the Flux Pearl & Solid are the same 65 x 4 1/4 x 40 (pin up with CG to the right). This ball will be great for league and tournaments. This is a great ball to have in your bag, get one today! My ball review videos are posted on YouTube channel Stanley Waite.

Would this ball have the same reaction as the ebonite choice pearl?

Have an answer to this question?

They will have similar length and both are high performance options but the Choice Pearl was rated for medium to heavy oil while the Flux Pearl is rated for medium only on the Choice Pearl may have a slightly stronger hook potential.
