My slide was significantly reduced with this shoe as compared to my previous right-hand shot shoe with only a pad on one shoe. It was a surprisingly significant reduction in shoe slide.

Hello, these shoes should work for left handed bowlers. They have universal soles, which means they have a slide sole on both shoes.

How do you not slip with slide soles on both shoes? Can the slide soles be removed from one of the shoes?

The slides will be fixed for both shoes so they cannot be changed or removed. However, most bowling centers rental shoes have a similar design with both shoes have slides so it will be similar to the performance of a rental shoe. If you need a shoe with more traction to push off with then you may look for a shoe that notes which handed bowler it is for. If the shoe name does not mention being right or left handed then it may be like this and have slides on both feet.
