This shoe does have total interchangeable sole & heel construction for both shoes but it will only include the soles and heels that are on the shoes. Any extra soles and heels would have to be purchased separately.

If soles are interchangeable, why did I receive soles for a right handed bowler? Why should I have to pay more for left hand soles when advertised for both but does not include both? Why not require a right or left hand selection?

The soles are not curved so you can take the slide sole off the left shoe and put it on the right shoe. You can also take the traction sole off the right shoe and move it to the left shoe. Also, when you buy new pads, you do not select right or left handed on the next pads because the pads will fit either shoe.

This shoe model can be adjusted to be either right handed or left handed just by switching the soles and heels from one shoe to the other shoe. The pads are shaped the same for both shoes so they can fit either the right or left shoe and this is how this shoe can be converted to work for either right or left handed.

Unfortunately you cannot use the SST soles on the Dexter THE 9 shoes. You must use THE 9 soles on THE 9 shoes because they have a toe clip that helps hold the soles in place.

It is hard to say how this shoe will fit compared to other shoe models. Unfortunately this shoe is a closeout so we cannot do returns or exchanges if this did not fit so I would recommend getting a shoe that is not on closeout if you have not tried on a Dexter before.
