Feel that Allure
I am loving my Allure solid as it does exactly what is advertised. The ball is just a great step down from my Omni and V2. It is also just so predictable off the pattern that it is great when sanded

allure solid
i like the allure solid on the fresh when i wanted to play straighter angles (drilled pin down 60x4.5x 70). it blends the wet/dry well. later on as the lanes dry up and i move more inside most of the time would then switch to a pin up and either the aero dynamic or allure pearl depending if i was the first to move into that puddle in the middle or not.

Smooth, great with backends
Layout - 65 x 4.5 x 65
This ball has a short 1 inch pin. For a midline ball, this ball hits extremely well. I’m always looking for a great beginning block ball that can yield consistency to the pocket, yet have the hitting power that I don’t have to worry about flat 10 pins. If the backends are clean to allow this ball to really work downlane, it’s a champ. This ball is better suited for shorter to mid length patterns, with clean backends. I’ve attempted to use the ball with a little oil carry down, and it just doesn’t quite turn the corner well enough. Crispy backends though, and you’re going to welcome this ball all the time.

Ebonite Allure Solid is the perfect benchmark ball.
I had the opportunity to drill & throw the Ebonite Allure Solid yesterday . I threw it side by side with the Ebonite GB3. I found the Allure to have a similar shape but overall a little stronger & a bit more continuous thru the pins. It gonna be that steady Eddy benchmark ball you'll want to pull out first to see what the lanes are doing. It's a mid oil ball but for me bowling on a burned up shot it got back around the corner from deep with plenty of power left.
