Hammer 3-D Offset
To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the great 3-D Offset bowling ball Hammer is releasing a ball with the same name that will remind bowlers of the original's performance while dominating today's conditions. This ball uses a single density core that utilizes the same shape as the original core. This version of the 3-D Offset is covered with Neoflex 25 cover which includes a carbon fiber outer core. The current version is finished with a 2000 Siaair to assist the ball in getting down the lane resulting in a strong and continuous reaction through the backend and pins. These changes were put in place to improve ball motion, durability, and hitting power on current conditions. The visual appearance of this high-performance bowling ball is almost identical to the original due to the Blazing Violet color and yellow and orange logos. This bowling ball utilizes DOT! DOT allows you to drill anywhere on the ball and offers toughness to the ball.

Reviews are right, this ball is it!
Well the reviews are right! I picked the ball based on specs but I buy it based on reviews & of course the 3D offset hammer did not disappoint! can use it as my main strike hitter, I can accurately throw it straight to clean up spares. Specs say med-heavy oil but I can throw it on any lane conditions without fail.

Love it for League
Love this ball. I find myself to be more consistent with this ball than my others. It's one of those balls that just feels good when you pick it up. I highly recommend it for anyone throwing a 14 lb. ball or heavier. - But why is there a Zen Soul Video attached to this product? Strange.

Works well on multiple conditions

Perfect “Middle” ball
This ball is the perfect “middle ball”. Not too big, not too small, not too sharp, not to smooth. All other “middle” balls I have had, I could go to something else in the bag that was better. Not with the 3-D Offset. I can see it working on the fresh, middle of the block and late in the block. A great versatile ball for my arsenal.

Incredible!!!
The 3D Offset is an absolute beast of a ball. Very strong off the breakpoint, but gives me the length I need to get it through the midlane. This would be a great benchmark ball for any type of bowler. Extremely versatile. This will definitely be in my arsenal for a very long time. DO NOT sleep on the 3D Offset, get one NOW!!!

Amazing remake!
What can I say, Hammer killed it again with the remake of this one! Ball is as good as advertised. Very versatile ball that you can play multiple angles with it. If you are waiting for a sign to get one, HERE IT IS! This is a must for any level bowler to have in their bag!

3-D Offset
The 3-D Offset was one of my all time favorites and the remake has done it justice! I find this ball very strong through the mid lane and very continuous through the pins. The cover stock is very versatile. I have adjusted the surface a few times just to see how much it changes the shape and I was pleased every time. I definitely see this ball fitting a wide range of styles.

Fantastic Continuation
The 3D Offset is a special ball with a smooth reaction you don't normally see from a pearl type bowling ball. This one is a bit stronger than the Widow 2.0 or the Obsession Tour pearl but with a completely different shape. When the other two balls stop this one keeps going. The amount of continuation you see from this ball is quite unusual for the smooth shape it has. The 3D is playable from all angles as long as you have enough oil and is my first choice if the lanes are on the slicker side. This one is much stronger than you would think but is a must have in the bag. It is a blend of the smoothness of old with the strength of newer technology. Everyone should own a new 3D Offset.

Pros:
High flaring, benchmark asymmetric pearl
Cons:
Light oil, super short patterns
Best Uses:
Benchmark ball, medium-heavy patterns, sport shots

Hammer 3D Offset, the legend returns!!!
I drilled this one 60 x 3.5" x 60 to give me a longer transition from skid to hook to roll, retain some tilt for better down-lane motion, getting through the pins consistently, and that is exactly what I got. This is my go-to pearl asymmetric ball on most medium oil sport shots, and typical house shots. This one lives up to the legendary 3D nameplate, featuring DOT and DynamiCore technology, for better hitting power and increased longevity. This ball is a beast! Do you need a strong ball that rolls great on almost everything? This is it! A true legacy ball. 25 years ago the 3D Offset made a huge splash in the bowling world. Today, the remake is picking up where the original left off.

3-D Offset is a BEAST
Awesome ball Stronger than I thought it would be. As a huge fan of the OG 3D Off Set I was very much looking forward to the remake. Hammer did not disappoint. The New Off Set has a strong cover that takes surface changes well. I drilled mine the standard 45x4x35 layout I use on all Asymmetrical pieces. The ball is strong on the midlane and continues through the pins great. The best way to describe this ball in relation to the OG 3D is that it is stronger overall compared to the choices available today than the OG was to the balls available then.

Blast from the past
Who would have though this sweet GEM would have been reproduced!!! It is here and it is absolute Monster of a ball. I drilled mine 55 x 5.5 x 45, I wanted it to be very versatile like the 8 I had previously in the late 90's and it was every thing I wanted plus some. Since then I have drilled 2 additional first one 70 x 3.5 x 25 (hook monster) and second one 65 x 6.5 x 0 (great for breakdown and severe wet/dry.

It's Back!
I didn’t have the opportunity to throw the original 3D Offset but if the remake is anything like the original I can see why it was brought back. For me, I’m able to play a little tighter on medium lines and still have all the power I need down lane to clear the rack. Wouldn’t be my first choice on heavier oil patterns but on the short to medium conditions mixed with my ball speed, this ball is money!

Hammer 3-D Offset
I drilled this ball with a 60 x 4 x 30, pin up, layout. This is a strong, early, and heavy rolling out of the box. It read this mids very strongly on my local house shot. I brought the surface up to 3000 and the reaction really opened up. It’s definitely a first ball out of your bag and will roll best on fresh and heavier oil conditions.

Amazing
This ball didn't disappoint 25 years ago and it doesn't disappoint now. It's a great ball for medium to heavier lane conditions. It has a very smooth and controllable motion that handles the middle part of the lane really well. The duller pearlized cover really makes this ball stand out from the rest by having a strong backend, while being able to handle the heavy oil in the middle of the lane on your typical house shots

3-D Offset
I never had the original 3-D Offset back in the day, but I am definitely liking this release. It gets through the fronts very easily and has a big, but controllable flip in the midlane and rolls hard through the deck. Just plain sexy!!

Hammer 3D Offset
I was able to get punched up recently the brand new Hammer 3D Offset. It is a remake of the highly popular Faball Hammer 3D Offset of the late 90's. The layout is 50 x 4 1/2 x 30 and I threw it on our fresh THS (Kegel Neon) at box surface as well as the 2021 PBA Mark Roth pattern.
I will say that I still have an original 3D Offset (different layout but matched surface) and compared to the original 3D Offset, the new remake 3D Offset is faithful to the original in terms of motion/shape…but definitely stronger.
What I see with the new Hammer 3D Offset is a very heavy rolling, fast revving ball with more of an arc type motion. It is similar to what I recall the original 3D Offset to be. It does require a good amount of oil in the pattern (at least at box surface) in order to read the pattern correctly/go through the pins effectively. In comparison, I had with me a Widow Ghost with a similar layout, another stronger asymmetric core ball with a pearl cover and while I was able to play a similar line, the SHAPE was very different with the Ghost being cleaner with a quicker downlane response. I expect the new 3D Offset to be in play on fresh patterns with medium to higher volumes of oil where one is looking for a predictable motion to control the lane.
See your pro shop for more information on the new Hammer 3D Offset.

This ball is special. Special special. Watch the video, check out the performance breakdown. We recommend it for every bowler. With a shorter hook window and continuation, this ball is going to be a big deal.

Same as the Original
This ball rolls almost identical as the original. I can throw it on just about any pattern out there as it has a very strong and readable motion that you expect out of the 3d offset. This ball also takes to surface adjustments extremely well. This is a great benchmark ball that can be used on most patterns all the way from sport to house.

Hammer 3-D Offset
Stats: PAP 4 over ¾ up, 15 mph, 18 tilt, 275 revs. I drilled mine 50x4x20 to help maximize backend. The ball is designed for medium to heavy oil, but for my style it works best on medium oil as I need a little friction to get the proper read for the condition I am currently bowling on. I did add surface using a Scotch-Brite pad to help the ball read the lanes a little better for me. If you are a higher rev bowler you will have no problem hooking the lane with this ball. For lower rev bowlers you will likely need to add some surface like I did, and/or play more direct. The ball motion is midlane with ample backend. If you loved the original 3D Offset, you need this ball in your bag!

Hammer 3-D Offset
I've drilled up a lot of bowling balls the past few years and there are about 1 or 2 a year that have the "wow" factor. Well 2022 has it's first "wow" ball as far as I'm concerned. The Hammer 3D Offset is just different. The ball hits so hard and the pins sound louder when this ball attacks. It has a small amount of pearl in the cover stock to give it some length and cleanness through the heads but man when it revs up it is special to watch. This one goes straight into the league & tournament arsenal. I see using it on a lot of different conditions.

The Past is back with a Blast
This ball rolls just like the original but for todays lane conditions. The Carbon Fiber added to the coverstock and the DOT technology really set this ball off the charts allowing for maximum hitting potential and layout options. I found this ball to be earlier than my Black Widow Ghost but less than my Obsession Solid. A great piece of history revamped for the new generation. This ball quickly got into my league bag and will most likely stay in my tournament bag also. Go get your today!

blast from the past
I drilled my 3 D offset at 45 x 4 ½ x 30. What I got is a ball that gets through the front with ease and continues all the way through the pin deck. I have honestly not “heard” a ball HIT the way this ball does. It destroys the rack even on less than perfect shots. With my lower ball speed I was afraid that this ball would be too strong in the front but the combination of cover and weight block makes this one a “no brainer

Love it
I brought this ball about a week ago, I threw it for the 1st time on 3/4/2022 on my Friday league. My 1st time using the ball, I shot a nice 218 in the 1st game, the lanes started to change really quick in the 2nd game so I switched. Went back to it in the 3rd game, made some adjustments & I shot a 198. Really like this ball.
Customer Questions & Answers | Reviews
Question:
If you have a low Rev rate is this a good ball
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
Yes, this ball is a good option for someone who is speed dominant or someone with a lower rev rate. This ball is high performance and it will have a strong hook potential so it can help a lower rev rate still get a decent amount of hook in medium to heavy oil conditions.

Question:
Same core for 12lb & up? I've seen some that say 12-13 have diff core?
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
The 14-16lbs will have the High Rev Offset weight block. The 12-13lb change the weight to a more common performance weight block that Hammer uses across the board in almost all of the lower weight performance balls.
