I Love This Game

It's amazing to see how fast the sports we play today are evolving. Bowling is by far one of those sports making huge strides in technological advances to increase the full potential of the game and the athletes. Look at this picture above and then look at the picture below, it goes without saying, but by just showing two pictures you can see many advances that have been made within the sport.

Bowling alleys used to be made solely of wood. Athletes would only carry maybe two bowling balls with them everywhere they went, they didn't have a need for more than two balls. Nowadays, the majority of every bowling lane is synthetic instead of wood because of the ease in maintenance and upkeep. Also, professional bowlers don't just carry two bowling balls with them, but they carry about 6-12 bowling balls now because every lane has a different oil pattern, and certain bowling balls perform better than others on certain oil patterns.

Regardless of how much the game has changed and will continue to change, I still love this game of bowling. There is never a day I wake up and don't want to spin some off. I always want to be at the lanes because that's where I feel most like me. Bowling really does bring out the best in everyone and I'm glad I have the passion for such an incredible sport. Bowl on everyone!
