Brunswick Fearless

The Brunswick Fearless is the first bowling ball to feature the Durability Optimization Technology (DOT). This technology by Brunswick was developed to reduce the chance of cracking by enhancing the balls durability. This ball is also the first to have a maufucaturer's 4 year warranty. Loves to Strike

I have not bowled in 8 years. My favorite ball is a Brunswick 15 pound Raging Red Fuze. I have 2 more undrilled to take to the afterlife. I am semi retired now and decided to get back into bowling but step down to 14 pounds. I bought 3 balls including this Fearless. After a warm up game with the 3 balls, I rolled the Fearless only and got 9 strikes in 12 shots and left only 4 pins standing all game. By coincidence there is a league at Earl Anthony's using this ball only. I guess the word is out. Nuff said!!

Benchmark Monster

The Fearless uses Brunswick's new DOT Technology that allows you to drill your ball anyway or where you want to without worrying about being to close to the pin and cracking. It also features a 4 year warranty. The Fearless for me is a control ball which is my benchmark ball so I don't give away the pocket, it gives me easy length and a strong movement on the lane.

I shot my first 300 with this ball in seven years.

First, the Fearless uses Brunswick's new Durability Optimization Technology (DOT) that has an unrestricted drill area.
This ball is best suited for medium to oily conditions but have found great success with this ball on a typical house shot and shorter sport or challenge patterns where there is plenty of head oil.
I am a lower rev player and so I find that this ball works better for me with a little slower speed than I usually throw it. The ball doesn't overreact and hits hard. The Fearless has a very clean and predictable motion. It is a more of a quicker response ball, but very predictable. The Fearless allows me to keep the ball in play and score!

The Fearless is Brunswick's first ball to utilize the DOT technology. It allows you to drill virtually anywhere you want without fear of voiding your warranty. It is quite fantastic to know you have a 4-year warranty on your side and the extra hitting power of the Dynamicore technology. The Fearless has quickly become the first ball out of my bag on our league conditions and my current favorite. It is a full step down from my Method and is just a little bit longer down the lane than the Vintage Inferno. I find that I can start right with this one in the track area and work my way left throughout the night with full confidence that I will carry the corners. This ball seems to have the unique ability to get down the lane, come around the back corner hard, and still maintain a readable reaction. The Fearless should work well for most styles. The affordable price, great ball motion, 4-year warranty, and great hitting power make the Fearless a great option that will work well for most styles.

Controllable Ball

Ball: Fearless
Layout: 60x4x40
The Fearless is the first ball from Brunswick using the all new Durability Optimization Technology (DOT) giving you an unrestricted drilling area by relocating the manufacturing pin on the bottom of the ball. This ball also features a 4 year warranty thanks to this new technology.
The Fearless is a very controllable ball best for medium oil. You can attack the lanes from multiple angles without losing hitting power with the aid of the Dynamicore. I have this ball out of box being a little earlier than the Cutting Edge Solid with a smoother backend motion. You will see good use from this ball on tougher sport condition where you need to control the motion down lane as well as on your typical house shot.

Pros:

Attractive, Benchmark Ball, Continuous Motion, Flawless Surface, Smooth Transition

Cons:

More of a medium or medium-dry pattern ball

Best Uses:

Local Bowling Alley, Tournaments

Bottom Line:

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This ball is something else!

I drilled my Fearless partially through the "pin" dot because that is actually one of my favorite layouts but never get to use it for fear of the surface cracking. No fear with this ball! I use mine with box finish, and it glides through the heads very nicely and picks up midlane when there is a little friction. It makes a smooth and strong motion that continues to drive through the pins. With a little surface this ball may work on heavier conditions but I prefer it for when the lanes start transitioning. It keeps me in the pocket and keeps me striking while I move deeper. I am able to stay in this ball a long time because it works playing a little straighter and continues to work well as I increase my angle.

Question:

Quantum bias pearl and Fearless. If a 66 year old wanted one or the other for house shot which would be best.

2/16/2019 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Fearless will have more length than the Quantum Bias for the Fearless is a pearl and the Bias is a solid coverstock. At this point it would be your preference whether you would like a pearl or a solid coverstock.
