Brunswick Knock Out Bruiser

Knock Out Bruiser
I drilled my Knock Out Bruiser with a 4 x 30, pin up layout, which is the same as my Knock Out and Melee Jab. For me, the Bruiser is the strongest of the three. In comparison, it’s earlier and more overall hook than the Knock Out. I can use this ball as a game 1 ball, where the Melee Jab was more of a game 2-3 ball. I think this ball would be a good benchmark type ball in everyone’s bag.

great ball
The Knockout line is one of my favorites of all time. The Melee core combined with a stronger cover makes the Knockouts and Jabs a great 1-2 punch. The Bruiser for me is extremely smooth and controllable. As a high rev player, having a bowling ball that is predictable and comes off the spot with control is very important. Comparing this ball to the black and blue, I would say the Bruiser is about 3-4 more overall but a touch smoother downlane motion. Once I notice the Bruiser get a little lazy down lane, I can go right to my Carbon Jab while making a small move with my feet inside.

A Better Knockout than the original
Best of the Knockouts. This one is cleaner, more responsive, and shapes better than the previous versions. A real win for Matched and Rev Dominant players.
