Dexter makes pretty good bowling shoes
Good solid support and I have adjusted the sole and heel so I can slide and not stop short. No laces to untie and the twist knob is working so far. Press it in to tighten and pop it out to loosen the wire "shoelace" so you can take the shoes off. Me likey.

It is hard to say based on true to size can vary depending on brand and the person, but we recommend ordering your normal shoe size and adding the True Fit Guarantee which would cover your exchange expenses to get the next size up or down in case the first size did not work out for you.
