X-Out means that there might be an irregular pin/top weight, an irregular overall weight or it might have a slight surface blemish. All X-Out balls are USBC certified to use in league or tournament play.

It could have an irregular overall weight meaning if you ordered a 15# ball and the ball we find is 14.13, that is still considered a 15# ball. And the surface blemish could be anything from a swirl in the colors or anything like that.
