Roto Grip Hustle RAP

Roto Grip Hustle RAP

In sports we are always told to hustle well now Roto Grip is providing a ball that will do just that on the lanes. The Roto Grip Hustle 3TP was designed to be different. This ball takes a medium RG/ low differential core and combines it with the VTC-P20 Pearl Reactive coverstock to produce a ball that offers the best combination of versatility and control. The 1500 grit polish finish on this ball helps it acheive the length and backend expected from a pearl coverstock in the Hustle ball line when facing light to medium oiled lanes.

Question:

How does this compare to the hustle pow?

6/28/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

They will be very comparable in performance. The only difference is the coverstock but the coverstocks are very close in performance so if you already have the POW then you would not really need the RAP. But if you were wanting to replace the POW with something that had a similar reaction then the RAP would be a great option.

Question:

How does this compare to Hustle ink ?

7/11/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

All of the Hustle bowling balls currently have the same Hustle weight block but there are some differences in the coverstocks. The Hustle Ink has a Thrilled Solid coverstock while the Hustle RAP has a VTC-P20 Pearl. There is also a VTC-P18 Pearl on some Hustles such as the Hustle Au but that seems to be the only differences is the coverstock.

Question:

How does this compare to the Storm High Road Pearl

7/29/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

They will have similar length but the Hy-Road Pearl will be a little stronger overall hook on the backend. The Hy-Road is also mostly rated for medium oil while the Hustle is more in medium to lighter oil.

Question:

Would this be a good replacement for my Hectic?

2/10/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

Yes, this would have a very similar reaction to the Hectic. Both have a pearl coverstock with a polished finish for great length in medium to lighter oil conditions. The Hustle RAP weight block reads just slightly earlier which gives it more time to hook while the Hectic weight block would go a little longer but was a little stronger on the backend.

Question:

I am looking for a ball to act similar to my Storm Tropical Breeze. Not to replace but to be a backup. Our house lanes are very dry, and I use my Tropical Breeze fir games 2 & 3.

3/2/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Roto Grip Hustle RAP would be slightly stronger than the Tropical Breeze but it is very similar in performance. It has a pearl coverstock and polished finish to give you good length similar to what the Tropical Breeze would do. So if you needed something just slightly stronger than the Breeze for that first game the Roto Grip Hustle RAP could be a good option.

Question:

How would this compare to a Roto Grip Kenetic (green and black(

5/10/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

I was not able to find a Roto Grip Kenetic ball unfortunately. I found a Roto Grip Hectic which was pretty close in comparison. Both balls had a pearl coverstock with a 1500 grit polished finish out of the box and they were both mid performance balls for medium to lighter oil. The Hectic would get a little more length but had a little more backend hook than the Hustle but they are very very close.

Question:

How does this compare to the all road and the hy-road?

7/6/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Hustle RAP is going to be a little less hook potential than the "Road" series. The weight block on the Roads will be stronger and this helps them to have more hook and they will work better in medium oil while the Hustle is probably a little better suited in lighter oil.

Question:

How does the Hustle rap compare to the Roto Grip camo

11/21/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The only difference is the Camo is a solid coverstock while the RAP is a pearl coverstock so the RAP will go a little longer on the lane and have a slightly sharper backend.

Question:

How does the HUSTLE RAP compare to the Hustle AU?

12/8/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

There is a very very small difference in the RAP having a slightly newer version of the pearl coverstock. This slight difference would not likely be noticeable. The newer covestock will often be slightly stronger but in this case it is almost an identical reaction.

Question:

Is the Hustle RAP the same as the Hustle Wine?

1/9/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

They technically have a slightly different coverstock but you would not be able to tell the difference in performance side by side because they still have the same finish and same weight block.

Question:

What would be a stronger ball than the hustle rap? Like same reaction but just a ball up situation. Love this ball.

1/19/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The next step up would be the Roto Grip Hyped Pearl which is rated for Medium oil mostly. Then if you needed to go up even more you would like the Rubicon UC2 which is good for medium to heavy oil. Then in the highest level the RST X-2 gives you a good reaction in heavier oil.
