Cons:

Slightly oil sensitive

Best Uses:

Fresh on low-med volume patterns, Closed angles

Bottom Line:

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

One of the biggest sleeper bowling balls out now.

This ball amazed me! I knew it would be good, but this is astounding! This ball reminds me of a weaker iQ Tour Solid. Only issue is the shine. I recommend hitting this with a 3000-4000 pad. Missed the pocket once my first night of league with it. Layed it out 60 x 4 1/2 x 60.

Electrify Solid

The Electrify Solid is the newest addition to the hot line. This ball has the same Circuit Core that has been in the hybrid and pearl, however, this ball is wrapped in the Reactor solid coverstock previously found on the Match Up Solid. This ball offers a unique reaction that is unlike others in its class. The Electrify solid allows me to keep my angles straighter on a variety of different patterns while maintaining downlane shape. I would strongly recommend this ball for all bowlers who are looking for a high-performance ball for a low-performance price!

Question:

Will this ball be good to pair with my Hy-Road X?

11/27/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This will have a slightly lower hook potential than the Hy-Road X so you may be able to use this more in lighter oil but they are going to have a very similar reaction on the lanes.

Question:

Is the Storm Electrify Solid good for a straighter ball at speeds from 11 to 13 MPH & is there a newer ball that compares to the old storm Special Agent?

12/2/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This ball will have hook potential and work in lighter and some medium oil conditions so if you want the ball to go straighter you may prefer to look at a plastic spare ball or maybe a urethane ball. The Phaze II would be the closest ball out right now from Storm to the Special Agent.

Question:

Lefty two handed average does it hook

1/6/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This ball is designed to have hook potential in medium to dry lane conditions so you should be able to get this to hook in those conditions.
