Storm Phaze V
The Storm Phaze V continues the success of the popular Phaze series of upper-mid performance bowling balls. This ball contains a strong Velocity Core with a low RG making it one of the most aggressive symmetrical bowling balls to date. This ball offers more revs, more power, and more control while maintaining consistency. This version targets power towards the backend, where power is most needed and is ideal on heavy oil conditions. The Reacta Gloss finish found on this bowling ball produces length and entry angle.

PHAZE V
PHAZE V. The Phaze line the most stable in the Storm line introduces the Phaze V. A new pearl version with the R2S cover stock and featuring the new reacta shine. Typically the Phaze line for me is rather smooth and consistent for me . This Phaze V was super quick through the fronts and really sharp on the back end for me not something I was expecting. But this ball does take well to surface and after hitting it lightly with a 2000 I read a little earlier and slowed down for me. I find this time to time that I need to hit the cover a little to get a better reaction. I laid this one out 4.5x4.5x3.

Question:
What is the difference to the Phaze 4
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
Unfortunately the Storm Phaze 4 was banned by the USBC so Storm had to make some adjustments and the result is the Phaze V. This has a similar coverstock, weight block, and finish but is within the guidelines required by the USBC.

Question:
How does this ball compare to the Nova
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
There are several key differences between the Phaze V and Nova. The Phaze V will go longer on the lanes due to the pearl coverstock and gloss finish. This will also give it a more angular backend hook. Also the Phaze V can work down into medium oil conditions better due to the better length it has.

Question:
how does it compare to the phaze 3
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
The Phaze V is designed to give you slightly more length for an even sharper backend hook than the Phaze III. Both can work in medium to heavy oil and they have the same weight block so it really just comes down to the coverstock differences.
