Give your game a boost with the Columbia Nitrous. This affordable performance ball takes the two-piece Nitrous core that offers predictability and combines it with the Boost/R coverstock which gives gripping power. This ball is ideal on medium to light oil lanes and matches up well with any bowling style or skill level.
Its great, it hits like an animal and carries the light pocket shots SO well, shakers are guaranteed to rip the rack! Its durable and practical multi-use ball, for spare shooting and backup too! However when you hit high this ball never gives you a chance, rips right through and gives splits. But great ball overall, steady, and can be used to keep the pressure on your league rivals!
I've always been pretty partial to Columbia Balls. This one? Is Wicked!!
Has a nice slide, mid lane grab and tracks beautifully. Pin carry is phenomenal.
Takes a bit of effort to flatten it out a bit for spare shooting but it does the job.
First game out of drilling rolled a comfortable 196. Very satisfied!!
is this ball good for a straight shooter just starting high school bowling if not what would you suggest11/6/2017 - By snowburr

How does this ball compare to a rhino?2/23/2019 - By Jim
This will be more aggressive than the Rhino for the Rhino is an entry level ball and the Nitrous will be a Mid performance ball.2/25/2019 - By Bowling.Com Staff
you said ball for 14-16 pound on got same core and other is generic core only. generic core mean less hook or not hook at all?10/22/2019 - By mrdd
The generic core is usually a little bit weaker than the higher end core but it would still give you hook potential. Also, the core is not the only thing that helps the ball hook. The coverstock also helps and the ball has the same coverstock on all weights.10/22/2019 - By Bowling.Com Staff
Is this a good ball for beginners?11/10/2019 - By Dragon
Yes, this ball was designed to work on medium to lighter oil conditions and it has a medium hook potential. This would be good for someone who likes to bowl but maybe is just starting out and just bowling on open bowling nights when the lanes are usually lighter oil.11/13/2019 - By Bowling.Com Staff
