Roto Grip UFO Alert

Your competition won't be able to identify this object as it flies down the lane. The Roto Grip UFO Alert bowling ball works well with bowlers anywhere in the universe regardless of your bowling style, rev rate, or ball speed. This high-performance bowling ball utilizes the E.T. Core - Equalizer Technology which has built-in "Equalizer Cavities" that take the place of past weight holes to create more mid-lane movement as well as continuation down the lane. This core is paired with the eTrax Hybrid Coverstock which is 2 parts pearl and 1 part solid. This coverstock formulation helps offer responsiveness to friction at the backend while not being overly angular. The core and cover pairing for the UFO Alert is ideal for medium to medium-heavy house-type oil conditions.

Question:

compare the alert to the trend

5/30/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

They are going to have some similarities. Both are high performance balls and both are rated for medium to heavy oil. The UFO Alert has a stronger weight block which will give it a little more hook potential. Also the hybrid cover on the Alert will help it to read slightly earlier than the Trend pear coverstock but it is not that much difference in the length.

Question:

How well will the alert fit with the Phaze II and Trend?

6/13/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The UFO Alert will read the lanes a little earlier than the Trend but go later than the Phaze II so the UFO Alert fits between these two in terms of length on the lanes. However, if you are going by the hook potential then the UFO Alert would actually be a little higher hook potential than both the Phaze II and the Trend.

Question:

compare the alert to the dark code please ... thanks

7/30/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Dark Code will give you a little more length and have a sharper backend hook than the UFO Alert. The UFO Alert will read a little earlier than the Dark Code but still gives you good length and a little smoother backend reaction.

Question:

Looking for a ball with similar motion but need it for the 3rd game of league when the alerts just too much

8/17/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

You could move down to a Roto Grip Idol Synergy or the new Roto Grip Hyped Hybrid as a good medium oil ball to use when the Alert is too strong to use.

Question:

Will a 15 pound ufo alert have more hook than a 14 pound one?

1/7/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The specs on the 15lb and 14lbs are the same so there is not anything about the ball that would give either more hook potential.

Question:

compare this to Proton Physix

2/15/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The UFO Alert will react later on the lanes and have a sharper backend hook because it has a hybrid cover with a polished finish versus the solid cover and duller finish on the Proton Physix.
