DV8 Violent Collision

DV8 is elated to present a fantastic successor to the Brutal Collision: the Violent Collision. This captivating pearl bowling ball offers enhanced length and a sharper backend movement, providing bowlers with an exceptional choice when they need a less aggressive option than the Hellcat XLR8 and Brutal Collision. The Violent Collision features the same outstanding core as its predecessors, combined with the all-new Havoc Pearl coverstock, a pearl version of HK22. This is a Must Have

Just got this ball for a heavier oil tournament shot. This did not disappoint. Wow, does this ball move. This Asymmetrical Pearl ball comes off the breakpoint so well and creates some amazing pin action. You can move inside with this ball without giving up carry. It will handle its job very well downlane.

Tonight we bowl.

Dv8 bring you the violent collision, a great ball to switch to when your solid starts hooking too early and you need to jump left and get the ball thu the front of the lane not loose any of its energy to get the 10 out. DV8 tonight we bowl.

Be Violent when beating the pins

Violence is the answer when combatting the pins! This is the little brother to the DV8 Brutal Collision and this does not disappoint. This is a very, Very Angular ball but it is also strong. The core inside is the Collision core and it creates a ton of angle through the pocket. The RG helps keep the pins low and the ball sounds like a cannon went off as it decimates the pins. I would suggest this ball for someone who is looking for a shiny ball to come down from their solid strong ball. Players with low revs would be okay for this ball as well.

Violence can be good, at the pins!

Violent Collision:  Another great addition to the DV8 Collision line. If you liked the Brutal Collision but wanted a cleaner version, this is your ball. I drilled mine identical to my Brutal so I would only see the cover comparison.  I found a cleaner, more angular look that was usable from all angles. If I keep my hand out of it I can play up the lane and let the core snap in down lane. When I play my normal release, I am able to swing the ball effortlessly and fearlessly. The pearl cover with the HK22 base allows for great response down lane from all angles. This ball is Violent at the pins.

Best Uses:

Transition, carrydown, house shot

I chose violence and pins paid for it...

I added this ball to my bag to be the strong asym pearl that I can switch to when the Extreme Envy or Envy Tour starts to hook too early. The first impression was wow that is a hook monster! The Violent Collision features HK22 and as a result it sees the friction and makes a strong angular move to the pocket. The low RG core helps it read even on medium and heavy oil conditions.

talk about violent motion!!!

The Violent Collision is a GREAT addition to the DV8 high performance line!!! its cleaner than the brutal collision with a ton more backend motion! ball is amazing for when lanes are getting dry but don't want to ball down too much. JUST SWITCH TO THE VIOLENT COLLISION!!! with the clean hk22 pearl cover stock it's an amazing ball and a must have!

Backend Hook Redefined!

DV8’s first ball featuring HK22, the Brutal Collision, created a solid impact on the lanes and was definitely one of my favorite balls. Introducing the lates new release from DV8, the Violent Collision, which is definitely a great follow-up to the Brutal Collision. The Violent Collision features the same core as the Brutal Collision but has a new pearl version of HK22 called Havoc Pearl for easier length and a stronger backend. My Violent Collision is drilled 55x5x35. For me, the intent of this layout is to allow be to have more length and a more predictable ball reaction off the spot, when I have to move inside. If you were a fan of the Brutal Collision, then the Violent Collision is a must have in your bag. Remember, if you are not throwing DV8, you’re just not bowling!!!

Violent for sure!

Love this ball! Have every ball in the collision line and this by far is my favorite! I drilled it with stack leverage to go long and strong and man I can’t say a bad word about this ball. If I pull it, it holds, if I push it, it has enough energy to come back and smash the pocket. I recommend this ball to all levels of bowlers. You won’t be disappointed!

DV8 Violent Collision

For me, the Violent Collision is a true Skid Flip type of ball. It gets easily down the lane before making as the name says, a violent left turn and a violent collision. If you get it to the 1-3 there is a very good chance you will strike with the power of this ball. Nice add to the arsenal.

Hi Buff! These will be very similar with the coverstock & core comparison, but the DV8 Violent Collision would be slightly stronger.

Answer:

Hello! The DV8 Violent Collision is designed for heavier oil therefore will be more aggressive with a higher hook potential than the Hammer Envy Tour Pearl.
