Hammer Obsession Tour Pearl
The Hammer Obsession Tour Pearl is obsessed with performance This bowling ball uses the TourV2 Pearl coverstock which is the pearl version of the coverstock that made the original solid ball such a success. This cover is paired with the Obsession Tour core which has the same shape as the regular Obsession core minus the flip block. This core alteration results in less flare and less hook but with a more controllable reaction on medium oil conditions. The Obsession Tour Pearl gets down the lane smoothly with an aggressive backend motion and continuation through the pins. This bowling ball utilizes DOT! DOT allows you to drill anywhere on the ball and offers toughness to the ball.

I am obsessed with this ball!
This ball rocks!!! Hammer has a real winner on their hands. I drilled mine 50 x 5 x 35. The ball gives me a true benchmark type reaction. Strong mid lane, and continuous through the pins. Watch out! The Obsession line of balls are awesome.

Obsession Tour Pearl
The Obsession Tour Pearl glides effortlessly through the body of the lane and has an aggressive motion continuation movement throughout the backend and through the pin deck. Very Impressive! Have used this in multiple tournaments and have not been disappointed.

Thumbs up
Very smooth through the front, but the low diff core makes it not as angular (for me) on the backend. A nice change from my other asym/pearl/skid flip balls.

The Hammer Obsession Tour Pearl is full of performance.
The Hammer Obsession Tour Pearl is full of performance. This bowling ball uses a pearl version of V2 cover that helped that ball be such a success. This ball uses the regular Obsession Tour core without the flip portion of the block. Without the flip portion of the block it results in a more controllable reaction throughout the shot. The Obsession Tour Pearl is smooth getting down the lane with an aggressive backend motion that continues through the pins.

Hammer Obsession Pearl
I used a 60 x 4 x 25, pin up, layout on this ball. This ball gives me an unique motion! It is very clean through the fronts, but with the lower differential core, it gives a continuous backend motion. For me, it doesn’t have the angular or skid flip motion that you’d expect from a pearl with an asymmetrical core. It’s a great step down from the Obsession Tour and will roll well on most house shots and lighter oil conditions.

This Gold ball is a Goldmine
This ball is really one of a kind. This is one of those balls that you can do almost anything with, and that should go EVERYWHERE with you. This ball blends different patterns so beautifully well, it makes you want to see the transition faster than normal so you can watch this ball really shine. There is nothing better than a pearl with a low diff to help control wet/dry where you don't have to make drastic changes in your release or speed. This ball is a great choice for bowlers of all calibers as allows you to play different parts of the lane with ease, and the motion is very predicatable wherever you decide to project the ball.

great ball
This is one of those unique balls that you just need to have in your bag. The pearl cover with the same low differential as the solid gives you an unbelievable motion. This ball is very versatile as it allows me to play straighter angles as well as move in and hook it. The lower differential makes this ball very controllable. Comparing it to the solid, I would say its about 2 feet longer with 5 to 6 more boards of back end.

Great Compliment to the Obsession Tour Solid
I’ve been a huge fan of the Obsession Tour. It’s one of the most versatile asymmetric balls I have ever thrown. So, when I heard that the Obsession Tour Pearl was being released, I had to get one.
With my lower rev rate and ball speed, pearl equipment isn’t always my go to choice. However, with the Tour V2 Pearl Cover, I now feel as if I have a Pearl that I feel confident in throwing when I need.
While this ball naturally goes a bit longer than the solid, it’s got the shape I am looking for in this piece. When my Obsession Tour Solid gets to be too much for me, I’m able to stay in the same part of the lane, switch balls, and continue to hit the pocket. This ball is always in my bag for league or tournament play.
If you are looking for a pearl that is going to save a lot of hitting power, check out the Obsession Tour Pearl.

Obsession Tour
This is a great compliment to the Obsession Tour! I drilled this pin down so it starts up alittle earlier and has a strong continuous backend motion. When the Obsession Tour starts to read early this is the ball to switch to. Overall I’m impressed with how this ball goes through the pins!!!

Golden Ball
I might be a little biased as I love gold, but this ball is everything I hoped it would be and more. The numbers are very similar to the IQ Tour Pearl (also gold), but the Obsession Tour Pearl being an Asymmetrical ball, it gets going down lane just a little bit more. The ball is clean through the fronts as you’d expect with a Pearl, but the movement off of the oil, I’d describe it as a strong arcing motion. Compared to the Web Pearl, the Obsession will be slightly earlier and not as angular. Honestly, it’s a fantastic options when moving from a solid ball and it’s just not time for those longer stronger pearls.

I'm Obsessed!
Stats: PAP 4 over ¾ up, 14.5 mph, 18 tilt, 275 revs. The Obsession Tour Pearl is the latest asymmetrical piece from Hammer. Building off the popular Obsession Tour, this ball is wrapped in the TourV2 Pearl coverstock, giving it more length and angularity than the original Tour. I drilled mine 45x4.25x30. I have been extremely impressed with how easily I can move left, even with my lower rev rate, and still get great recovery with this ball. If you are looking for something for medium oil or transitioning lanes, this will make a perfect addition to your bag.

I LOOOOOVE GOOOOLD
The Obsession Tour Pearl. A ball has never complimented their solid counterpart better than this ball. Truly an amazing piece and should instantly earn a spot in anyone's bag. This ball allowed me to get the same great look I get from my Obsession Tour but when the lane started to change forcing me left, I just switched to this ball and it was like I never changed. Threw it the same way and got the exact same result even though the lane was a bit drier now from the games bowled on it. I have both Obsession Tour's laid out stacked pin above the bridge and they roll AMAZING!
For me - This series on ball in the Obsession Line have allowed me to conquer any lane conditions I might come across and now the addition of the Obsession Tour Pearl makes it that much better.

Must have
The obsession tour pearl is a special piece that compliments the obsession tour. When the obsession tour becomes to early and lazy down lane you can ball down to the obsession tour pearl and get the length needed and backend motion that is predictable. This ball will be great for when the fronts start to go away and carry down begins to happen. You won't be disappointed.

Difference in reaction between 14 & 13 #.

Question:
I love Hammer products, and I'm looking to replace my Rhodman pearl. How does this compare to that ball?
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
This would be a pretty close comparison actually. The FCC on the Rhodman Pearl was 24 and the FCC rating on this ball is 24.25. The core on this ball is a little weaker but it has a stronger coverstock to make up for that.
