Hammer Statement Hybrid

Hammer Statement Hybrid

Hammer continues to make a statement, this time with the Hammer Statement Hybrid High Performance Bowling Ball. This ball uses the Aggression Hybrid CFI coverstock which is finished with a 500/1000 grit sanding and then polished. The coverstock produces more skid through the front part of the lane compared to the Solid version but offers more midlane traction than the Pearl version. The polish used to finish the ball creates a strong direction change down the lane, but with plenty of friction to combat heavier oil. The Statement core in this ball has a very low RG with a high differential as well as a strong asymmetric core. This core design helps the ball rev up in heavy oil conditions. The design of this core places the majority of the mass at the bottom of the core which assists in storing energy. This bowling ball is Carbon Fiber Infused! Carbon fiber is one of the toughest materials on earth. Hammer decided to add this material to the inner core of this ball for added strength and durability allowing them to offer an incredible 3 year warranty.

Question:

I need a 11 pound ball

10/11/2019 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The lightest weight this ball goes to is 12lbs. If you were to get a performance ball in 11lbs then it would likely not have a performance weight block. So you could get a lower performance ball and get an 11lb ball with a good coverstock and it would be good. Here are some options in 11lbs that would give you a decent reaction : https://www.bowling.com/shopping/all/bowling-balls/all?weight=6&lane-conditions=38

Question:

Does this have more hook potential then the physiX?

11/5/2019 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

While both balls have similar features being a high performance ball, hybrid coverstock and asymmetric weight blocks, they do have different finishes out-of-the-box and the duller finish on the PhysiX is going to help give the PhysiX more grip and have it hook slightly more overall. The Statement Hybrid has a stronger backend because it goes longer before it hooks.

Question:

Will a 14 pound ball be as effective as a 15 pound ball

12/4/2019 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The 14lb has the same weight block, coverstock, and finish as the 15lb. A 14lb does not hit or carry through the pins the same exact way as a 15lb but because the ball has a good strong hook potential it lets you create a great entry angle to help get great pin action.

Question:

If a ball is on closeout(Hammer Statement Hybrid) can you still utilize the drilling protection for a return if the ball cracks?

1/14/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

Yes! The drilling protection would still cover the ball when you take this to have it drilled locally and we could still replace this if something were to go wrong in drilling and fall under the drill protection. The ball will also still have a warranty too. The closeout balls just cannot be sent back as a normal return or exchange.

Question:

I throw a hard ball would this ball hammer statement hybrid be good for me

1/18/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This ball is designed to have good length. If you have a high ball speed then a ball that finishes late may not have enough time to give you a strong hook. You may want to go to something like the Statement Solid in that case.

Question:

Does the 12 lb ball have a different core and will it still have a strong backend hook?

1/26/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The 12lb ball will have a generic core that is used on almost all Hammer lighter weight balls. The ball will still have the same coverstock and finish and the weight block does still help the ball react so yes this will still have a strong backend in 12lbs but it may not be quite as strong as the backend on a 14lbs or higher weight.

Question:

What is the best pin top weight for this ball

1/30/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The pin and top weight that you would need to request could depend on the drilling you are going to do for the ball and it may also figure in with your hand measurements so you would want to check with your driller before ordering to see what pin and top weight to request for so they can do the best drilling layout for you.

Question:

What is the difference between the dv8 warient and the hammer statement or the hybrid statement

5/30/2020 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The DV8 Warrant is considered an upper mid performance ball while the Hammer Statement line is high performance. So the Statement bowling balls will be a little stronger hook potential and can handle a little more oil. The Statement Hybrid would be the closest comparison to the DV8 Warrant because they have a similar polished finish and have hybrid reactive coverstocks. But the Warrant works on medium oil and the Statement Hybrid on medium to heavy oil.
