Hammer The Sauce

Hammer is bringing back The Sauce, so add some flavor to your arsenal. The Hammer The Sauce uses the original Contrusion core with some slight modifications to meet today's standards. This core is covered by the Aggression Solid CFI coverstock and finished with 500/2000 Abralon. This ball gives strong traction at the midlane as well as a strong reaction on the backend. Just like the original this ball will be known for it's fast revving and low RG motion. This bowling ball is Carbon Fiber Infused! Carbon fiber is one of the toughest materials on earth. Hammer decided to add this material to the inner core of this ball for added strength and durability allowing them to offer an incredible 3 year warranty.

I Highly Recommend Getting This Ball

I'm a Stroker playing around 8 - 12 board throwing 13 mph with 250 revs and this ball gets a consistent shot to the pocket. Since buying this ball my average has went from around 140 to 170 and is only getting better. Hammer really did it with this ball and I'm happy I made the investment.

Something I've Been Missing

I give the sauce a 5 star rating because this ball gives me a nice strong motion! I used it on 48 feet pba shark and at box finish it was the best look i had getting recovery downlane.
On house patterns i can open up the lanes a bit, it will roll back if i get it wide and even give me a little hold. Its predictable and if you're looking for something strong to bail you out on long patterns or even just something that you can open up the lanes with, this is your ball!

Got any Sauce???

Got any Sauce???
The iconic Hammer Sauce is back and ready to put some spice into anyone's game. I found the ball to be extremely smooth with a very strong mid and backend reaction. I can definitely use this ball in very heavy oil conditions. For anyone with a moderate rev rate, cannot handle extremely dry conditions. I would definitely recommend the Sauce to anyone looking for a hooking type benchmark ball. Would be a very good add to anyone's tournament bag.

You Like - a - Da Sauce? Sauce is - a - Pretty Good!

The Sauce is Legit Awesome! This ball for me gets clean through the fronts and doesn't over read the middle, but when we get to the backends - smooth control change of direction without seeing it wiggle or jump too hard. It is very even rolling and still has plenty of energy in the punch through the pins. I very nice compliment to the Statements in that it has a symmetric core opposite of the asymmetric statements. BUT - The Sauce doesn't hit like a symmetric. When she goes through the pins - You will do a double take!!! That's some good sauce!

The new Hammer Sauce

Here is my take on the new Hammer Sauce. The new Sauce features a modified Contrusion Core wrapped around a Red/Black/Magenta Aggression Solid CFI coverstock. The ball is finished at 2000 Abralon.
My "vitals" are a 405 rev rate with a PAP of 5 9/16 over and 1/8 up. I drilled a Sauce with a 50 x 5 1/2 x 20 layout, no weight hole. I have used this ball at box finish. I have tried the new Sauce on THS and on 37' PBA Petraglia Sport pattern.
I recall well the original Sauce and Arson lines and their hallmark was strong, smooth, controlled ball motion. The updated Sauce is no different but with a very aggressive cover and thus a stronger overall motion/hook potential. On THS the new Sauce does not see over/under. It is easily allows the bowler to get on the oil and throw it to the dry but without the over/under that is often seen on house patterns. Similarly, on the high volume (29ml) 37' sport pattern, the new Sauce was able to handle the increased volume by being several boards further right of a similarly drilled Statement Solid with similar surface preparation. The Sauce, even though it is not angular in its motion, does show plenty of continuation and hitting power. For many, the new Sauce may be a good benchmark ball. This core/cover combination can definitely handle fresh oil and a variety of pattern distances. For lighter volumes or broken down patterns, the new Vibe Orange might be the preferred option.

Question:

Is this a plastic ball

6/10/2019 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This is a solid coverstock that is a high performance ball. It will have a large hook to it, it will not bowl straight.

Question:

Do you recommend this Bowl for Two Handed bowlers?

10/18/2019 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

There is not a specific ball made for two handed bowlers and other balls made for one handed bowlers. This ball is made to work on medium to heavy oil conditions and the duller finish helps it to read in the midlane. If you have a slower ball speed and high rev rate then this ball is not a good match. If your ball speed and rev rate are both high then this ball would probably work fine for you.
