Freak out your competition with the Motiv Paranoia. The Paranoia takes the dual density Oblivion core and pairs it with the Agitator Pearl Reactive coverstock that is finished with a 5500 grit LSP. This combination provides amazing angle with predictable movement down lane. This ball is controllable and is able to store plenty of power to get through the pins. The hook and the length of this ball make it a great compliment to many other balls in the Motiv line and is best used on medium oil lanes.
Great ball, I haven't shot less than 716 with it since it came out. I haven't had to switch balls after the first or second game. It reads the lane very nicely, had to make minor adjustments to my entry angle as the night progressed. Doesn't jump,
What I love about the Paranoia is that down lane motion. Although it is more angular, its transition through the mid-lane is very clean. In the time I have been throwing this piece, I have rarely felt that it would not finish and finish hard when reaching the pocket unless it was an error on my part. Just yesterday evening in league, I was throwing a Revolt Vengeance the first 2 games of the set. The final frames of the 2nd game, the Vengeance was just simply starting to turn over just a bit too soon and the slightest move right (remember... Lefty here!), the ball just would not face up the way I felt comfortable to maximize my score. So the 3rd game, I switch to my Paranoia. Now, my Paranoia has the same drilling as my Vengeance with the Pin squarely below my bridge and the CG slightly kicked out to the left. I then moved everything just 1 board to the left (Feet at 19 ½ Lay down at 10 and break-point at 7). Front 10 and a ringing 7 pin later and I finish with a 289. The Paranoia was able to clear the front part of the lane with little effort and with most of its energy being retained, the ball read the friction down lane and drove them the pins like a bulldozer.
Ich am hoping for a better Performance, not only from my side but also auch better reading on the lanes
Ball works great with soft pocket hits. If the goes solid pocket or heavy at times be prepared for 8 or 9 pin or a delayed strike
I believe that this ball has made me become a better bowler. Will my other balls, I was hovering around a 175 average. Now with the Paranoia, I am nearing a 220 average.
