Track Archetype
Track is making a bold statement with the Track Archetype high-performance bowling ball not only in performance but in color too. This ball features a modified slim version of the I-Core 3.0 core and the QR-11 Solid Reactive coverstock. The slim design of the core results in a higher RG and asymmetry. This core and cover duo help generate a stronger move down-lane on heavy oil conditions.

Strong
The archetype surprised me with how versatile it was for a bigger ball. I was able to play tight on long patterns but also get deeper when needed and the ball did not disappoint.

Dry Lanes

Fresh oil ball
This ball has been simply amazing. It’s a strong ball. The first shots were gutter to gutter. After it shined up a bit, the ball was phenomenal. I am by no means great at bowling, however my three highest games have been with this ball (234, 193, 181). This ball has been an excellent and I could not recommend it enough.

Archetype
Archetype is a very strong Asymmetrical solid. Lots of hook. Great step down from the Paragon solid. Works well on heavy to medium volumes of oil. Early rolling and big hook motion. Awesome color mix rolling down lane. Testing miss room out gave me more room then expected from big pieces like this. Still responds well and has good hitting power. Color mix is super cool.

This ball is STRONG! If you need something for heavy volume or long patterns look no further because this ball practically has an engine in it.

Track Archetype
The Track Archetype stands out even before it hits the lane. The color combination certainly stands apart from anything else. I am usually not a fan of seeing the ball swirl as it rolls down the lane, but once I saw the performance this ball has, I changed my tune. The Archetype is a very strong ball that reads early and has an asymmetry to help it keep flaring while driving down lane. I used mine recently to start the tournament on the difficult 43' Earl Anthony pattern. It performed very well and helped pay for itself first time out. Should be a good heavy or fresh oil ball.

Pros:
Clean Cover, Big Backend

BIG Backend
The Track Archetype is a big hooking ball and is an excellent alternative to the Track Paragon – depending on the look you need on the lanes.
Where the Paragon for me is early rolling, strong mid-lane and a strong arc down-lane, the new Archetype is much cleaner through the front and seems to store more energy going through the mids. Once it reaches the end of the pattern, it makes a BIG turn off the spot and covers a ton of boards down-lane, without giving away the strength of forward roll.
If you are looking for a big asymmetric solid to play deeper on medium patterns, so need something to play straight on higher volume that you can trust to react to friction down-lane – then I strongly recommend the Track Archetype.

Pros:
Needs a lot of oil
Cons:
Not for dry lanes
Best Uses:
oil, tournaments
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
DRY LANES NEED NOT APPLY
A Speed dominant players dream, a rev dominant players nightmare. This ball will look great on heavy oil, or if you need the ball to hook.
