Columbia 300 Outlook
Improve your outlook on your bowling game with the Columbia 300 Outlook Upper Mid-Performance bowling ball. This ball features the Exciter Max coverstock which is a modified version of the Exciter coverstock that was popular on the Chaos line of balls. This ball offers a cleaner ball motion with increased flip due to a high RG and medium-high Differential. The low RG and higher Diff also causes this ball to get down the lane further before reacting.

This ball has a great benchmark ball feel as a pearl. It has a lot of recovery down lane and can even get through the oily and fried fronts of the lanes. It is one of those bowling balls you can go to and know exactly what to do. This ball being in that mid-price point, you definitely get a great ball for the price!

Columbia 300 Outlook
I was practicing on a used house shot with light volume. That condition is actually what these kind of balls are made for. A shiny cover to help get through burned up mid-lanes but the Exciter Pearl coverstock to give the ball plenty of get up and go to get back to the pocket. It is a big round shape that I like, similar to the shape I had with the Hammer Rhodman Pearl but a bigger overall shape. The Columbia 300 Outlook is a keeper.

You shouldn't overlook the OUTLOOK
The OUTLOOK is the new mid-level release for C300 under the Brands of Brunswick and it should definitely be one to be looked at for benchmark consideration. With an enhanced version of the Exciter cover found on the Chaos line, the OUTLOOK provides the proper length down the lane without giving up lateral motion towards the pocket. The versatility of this new release at it's price point makes the OUTLOOK a ball you can't overlook!!

Strong Mid Performance Ball
The Columbia 300 Outlook features Exciter Max, an updated version of the clean and strong Exciter cover from the Chaos line. The Outlook is deigned with a high RG and medium to high Diff creating a cleaner ball motion with more flip. I found that the Outlook was able to get further down lane with less effort, using its energy down lane and through the pin deck providing a predictable ball motion.

Absolutely
The Outlook features Exciter Max, an updated version of the clean and strong Exciter cover from the Chaos line. The Outlook has a high RG and medium to high Differential; this combination pushes the Outlook motion further down-lane.
The Outlook is SUPER clean through the fronts and reminds me of the original eruption!!!!! My Outlook is pin up basically straight over the label and I have excellent length with predictable angular motion on the back end. The shape is great as well as the tremendous carry. The Outlook is a great symmetrical pearl and must have in the bag.

Columbia Outlook
Here is my take on the new Columbia Outlook. The Columbia Outlook features the Exciter Max pearl cover colored in Purple and Blue Pearl finished at Crown Factory Compound. It has the symmetrical Outlook core and comes with a 2 year warranty.
My "vitals" are a 403 rev rate with a PAP of 5 9/16 over and 1/8 up. I have thrown the ball at box surface. I have thrown the ball on THS and Kegel Highway to Hell. Layout used is 40 x 5 x 20.
My sense is this ball is best suited for medium to lighter volume patterns or perhaps broken down patterns at a variety of pattern distances. The ball motion is close to a Black Chaos but with a little less recovery downlane. Alternatively, compared to newer releases, this ball is close to a Hammer Fugitive but with more downlane motion. The shape is best described, as is advertised, skid/flip. I found the hitting power to be excellent with this release. As noted, I believe the Outlook can handle a variety of pattern distances, the key to proper use is pattern volume.
