Favorite Asymmetric
The way this ball picks up in the mid lane but doesn’t burn up still amazes me. The continuous ball motion that I see makes this ball so versatile on many different conditions for myself. It is a bigger hybrid and intended for oil, but I am also able to get left with it when I start to notice the carry down, and slow roll without worrying about the Speed losing its energy on me. I’m also able to use this ball on shorter oil conditions as it blends the pattern out. This will be a favorite in my bags for a long time.

Strong overall hook
Stats: PAP 4 over ¾ up, 15 mph, 18 tilt, 275 revs. I drilled mine 45x4.25x30 and have been using it at box surface. The Columbia 300 Speed is designed to provide strong overall hook on heavy oil conditions. I definitely had the best reaction with mine keeping it in the oil. It is great first ball and would also work fantastic on many sport patterns because it is controllable despite being a strong hooking ball.

You'd never guess it's a HYBRID. IT'S THAT GOOD
DOM won with it. You can too!
Even though it LOOKS like a solid, don't be fooled. This is a HYBRID with surface. An INCREDIBLE ball up, it's good for all styles on a wide variety of conditions. Just bring oil.

C300 Speed
The C300 Speed is a strong hybrid and asymmetrical bowling ball designed for heavier oil. My Speed is drilled 45 x 5 x 30. The ball reads the mid-lane and is very strong and continuous on the backend. My Speed is stronger than my Power Torq which has a similar layout in it and provides me with more overall hook. The Speed is impressive and I anticipated this ball being in my bag for quite some time. Visit your local Pro Shop Operator and inquire about the C300 Speed ASAP!!!

SPEED ..is a Demon
Columbia 300 – Speed
After drilling my SPEED and seeing go down the lane for the first time, my initial thought was OMG!! This ball is a kick-in-the-tail monster. The movement of this piece was extraordinary clean and extensive.
The new hybrid reactive FORMULA 1 cover which gives the SPEED its traction along with surrounding the new SHIFTER asymmetric core, helps make this ball a must for those that run into or deal with heavier oil conditions.

Columbia 300 Speed
The Columbia 300 Speed is a little different shape than what I usually like to see. It picks up pretty early which usually mean the ball is using its energy early and doesn't save much left for the pins. It's not really the case for this one. The Speed, although early and smooth, does have a good amount of hitting power through the pins. This ball will be good on heavy oil or for low rev players IMO. :-)

Question:
How is this ball compared to the prism solid?
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
This would actually be a pretty close comparison. Both were high performance balls designed for heavier oil and they both have similar strength on the weight block and similar duller finishes out of the box. The Speed Hybrid is a hybrid coverstock while the Prism Solid was Solid but the Speed Hybrid is a slightly duller finish out of the box so this balances out the length some so they will be very comparable.
