The legend of the Jackal is back as the Motiv Golden Jackal Pearl. This high performance bowling ball provides more length through the oil and produces an exceptional backend motion. This version features the Predator V3 asymmetric core which creates huge track flare potential and hook power. This weight block also has a low RG which makes it easier to rev and control on heavier oil conditions. This ball is covered with the Hexion SE Pearl coverstock which produces a powerful angle when a high oil volume is present. With a 4000 grit LSS finish this ball gives great down lane motion without losing traction.
my favorite pearl to throw is a hyper cell fused .. will this be a good replacement for that ball ? i want to stay with Motiv and want your strongest pearl1/28/2019 - By army dad
The Golden Jackal will be less aggressive than the Hyper Cell Fused for it is a pearl and the Hyper Cell Fused is a Hybrid.1/28/2019 - By Bowling.Com Staff
Compared to the fused the Golden Jackal will probably start up alittle sooner because out of box it has a surface Nd isn’t polished like most pearls, but it’s still even with the surface it’s still clean and continuous down lane for being such a big ball.1/28/2019 - By CASH Bowling Tournaments
what's a good layout for a high track2/17/2019 - By bob murray
Currently I have a gb3 pearl, code x and a spoiler. In the long run I am looking for a new ball to get more of a hook towards the back end of the lane when lane conditions are long and heavy on the oil. Looking at new bowling ball options what would be a good choice?4/2/2019 - By anon
The Motiv Golden Jackal would be a great choice! I was going to recommend going with a pearl ball if you are looking for something that will have more hook on the backend and when lane conditions are long and heavy. Keep in mind, that this ball is meant for heavy lane conditions only so this will be a good ball to start out with.4/2/2019 - By Bowling.Com Staff
What ball will get down the lane better, The golden or the ghost? I’m a lefty 2 finger bowler and on medium heavy oil conditions . More on the heavy side.6/5/2019 - By Corey S
How does this ball compare to the new rip’d that’s coming out6/29/2019 - By Pops
Can be used on lane long oil pattern but less volume oil it quick dry.7/26/2019 - By Tonyz
Which motivates is best for heavy oil9/24/2019 - By Dmac
Currently the Motiv Trident Abyss is the strongest Motiv ball that will handle the heaviest oil the best. Right behind this is the Motiv Jackal Ghost. The Golden Jackal is also very strong and handles heavy oil very well but it is behind the Abyss and the Ghost in overall hook potential.9/25/2019 - By Bowling.Com Staff
Hi i have just tenpin and looking to purchase a ball. I'm only averaging 140 per game. Would this ball be good for a beginner. What weight I'm using 10k at the moment3/23/2020 - By Cathy
This is a high performance ball so it may be hard to use for a beginner or someone getting their first performance ball. Also, this is not offered lower than 14lbs so we could go to something more mid performance to get a more versatile ball that will also be better for someone as a beginner ball. Here are some mid performance balls available in 10lbs : https://www.bowling.com/shopping/all/bowling-balls/all?weight=5&performance=23/23/2020 - By Bowling.Com Staff
