The Motiv Forza GT bowling ball is the hybrid version of the Forza bowling balls. This ball combines control and power as well as length and consistency. The Helix HR (hybrid reactive) coverstock offers an ideal amount of traction for medium oil lane conditions. The cover of this ball has been fine tuned with a 4000 grit LSS finish. The Torx weight block in this ball creates an RG and differential that make this ball extremely versatile. This bowling ball is like the perfect sports car that offers control and power so go ahead and take one for a spin!
The Forza GT for me is such a better overall ball than the original Forza was. I still get the same benchmark feel with it but get much more continuation and I am able to use it for a much longer period of time. The GT is not as early as the Original Forza but can certainly handle the same amount of oil. Compared to the Redline, the GT is earlier and more controllable but they compliment each other very well. This ball is best on medium to drier lane conditions with the out of box surface. This ball should be able to handle more amounts of oil at a 1000 or 500 grit surface.

The new Forza GT is a ball that I have anxiously awaited. I have been a huge fan of the Forza Redline since it was released. The Forza Redline provided me a great mid lane read with a much stronger back end than the original Forza. The new Forza GT takes it one step further. The new Hybrid Coverstock ( Helix HR) provides the traction needed on Medium Oil patterns with both length and control. The pearlized coverstock adds the hitting power and continuation we have all come to love from Motiv equipment. For me the pin up v ersion provided some added length with a very similar shape and was a great compliment to the pin down version which read much earlier in the mid lane but wasn't over reactive. The Forza GT is a great complimental piece to the Redline for me as it will provide me with the additional shapes needed to compete at the PBA level while still providing the predictability of the Forza line.
I was a big fan of the original smooth rolling MOTIV Forza, so I was excited to see that the new Forza GT was coming out with the same core, and a new Hybrid Cover. My hope was that the Forza GT would be right in the middle of my arsenal, and after throwing it for a while under a variety of conditions – that's exactly what I got: My new benchmark ball! On average length fresh oil patterns I find that the GT has just the right amount of traction to deliver perfect continuation through the pins.
On fresh sport patterns (in the 38 to 42 foot range) is where the GT shines the most for me. It is smooth and easy to read and gives me a real accurate sense of what the lane is offering me that day. Plus, since it's right in the middle of my line-up, I am able to easily transition to another ball that might have have a little more back-end, or pick up a bit earlier. I've also experimented and found that the GT really takes to surface adjustments very well to really fine tune the shape. If you've been waiting for a dependable, benchmark performer, I'd say that the Forza GT is it!
