Motiv Jackal Legacy

Motiv Jackal Legacy

The legend of the Jackal goes on with the Motiv Jackal Legacy Solid. This high-performance bowling ball is a hook-beast! The Jackal Legacy was designed to handle the heaviest oil conditions that a bowler might face. This ball uses the versatile and strong Predator V2 core and pairs it with the Coercion MXC (MaXimum Continuation) Solid Reactive coverstock to produce the strongest Motiv bowling ball to date. The Predator V2 core has been used in previous Jackal balls but the Jackal Legacy introduces the Coercion MXC Solid Reactive coverstock. This coverstock provides outstanding traction in heavy oil as well as a strong down lane motion with continuation. This ball will be powerful, provide tons of traction on heavy oil, give a smooth motion, as well as a controllable shape that helps lessen the over/under reaction on wet/dry lane conditions.

Question:

whats the lane play difference between Legacy and Alpha ? Is the coverstock that much different ?

Answer:

They both have the same weight block and the same finish out of the box so the difference it really going to be in the coverstock. The new Jackal Legacy will have a slightly stronger coverstock but in performance they will be very very similar overall. They are both also designed for heavy oil only.

Question:

on fresh oil on a THS this ball should be good for a game or two I,m thinking

Answer:

This ball is designed to work in heavier oil conditions so it could work that first game just after fresh oil is put down. However, this is a very aggressive ball so I am not sure how long through that first game you would be able to continue to use this if there are several bowlers in the league and if they are playing a similar line.

Question:

do you use any polish or cleaners on this ball

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This ball comes with a duller finish but you could polish the ball if you wanted to get more length. Also, because this is a high performance ball it will soak oil into the coverstock so you would need to clean the ball before you store the ball at the end of the night to make sure it stays performing the way it should. Motiv has both a polish and cleaner available if you needed either option.
