Motiv Trident Quest

Motiv was on a quest to find a ball with a coverstock that offers a violent and angular response to friction, that is suited for medium to heavy oil conditions and is aggressive. This quest resulted in the Motiv Trident Quest. This ball uses the asymmetric Turbulent weight block which is versatile and offers agility at the backend. This ball introduces the Hexion Reactive coverstock which boasts fast response skid-flip on the fronts with an aggressive backend snap. This ball is finished with medium to heavy oil conditions in mind.

You need this ball

I can tell you my Trident Quest is the first ball out of my bag. Medium oil, heavy oil, even light to medium oil. This ball does not disappoint. It has a beautiful hook on this ball and once you find your target and hit that pocket the pins violently exploded. Plays very angular so stay left. Fresh oil and even when the lanes start to break down it still performs awesome. My Quest is out of box condition, no changes to cover stock. I have even considered purchasing a second one and just putting it in the closet cause I would hate to see Motiv retire this ball. This ball has helped me increase my game by 15-20 pins and I broke the 200 mark for the first time with this ball. If you do not have one GET YOU ONE!!!!!! Make your league friends jealous

The Trident Quest is an outstanding ball!

The Trident Quest took some time to figure out but I found out through practice that the Quest is best when I keep it on a tight line keeping the right speed the Quest is in the pocket all day. The ball is not over aggressive but comes off the spot with force that clears the corners out consistently I like the angler motion of the Trident Quest . I am a Stroker so my delivery is smooth in that I rely on accuracy and hitting my mark when I bowl. The Trident Quest is my favorite ball if you don't have one get one you like I am Motivated!!!

love the reaction this ball delivers

Still trying to figure it out, where to throw it and control it consistently. I have only rolled it in a couple games and when I'm on it blows the pins out! I need more time with it. I bowl in league once a week, but going to practice more with it to break it in. Any suggestions?

On a Quest

The Trident Quest is the newest ball in the Motiv Line. This is a ball reaction that has been missing in the Motiv Line for quite some time. The new Trident Quest brings the power of a high end asymmetric core with a new pearl coverstock technology called Hexion. This ball is so angular and quick off on the dry for an asymmetrical ball. Those bowlers with lower rev rates, higher speeds or just bowl on oil will absolutely love this ball when the Trident or Jackal Ghost becomes too strong. This is definitely a ball that can be used for the masses and gives that great backend shape that many bowlers are looking for. This ball handles surface changes very well also. Take off the polish and this ball can easily handle the heaviest of oils. This ball is so versatile for an asymmetric ball and should be in any Motivated bowler's bag.
