Storm Hy-Road X

Ten years after the release of the original Hy-Road the tradition continues with the Storm Hy-Road X. This ball was designed with the modern game and conditions in mind by offering both power and reaction. This bowling ball takes the same Inverted Fe2 Technology core found in the other Hy-Road balls and pairs it with the R2X Solid Reactive coverstock. The R2X coverstock with a 1500 grit polished finish is a little more aggressive than its predecessor but it doesn't react too early or too late. This ball offers the perfect amount of power and smoothness.

Question:

What would the difference be between the hyroad x and the hyroad nano?

9/17/2018 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Hyroad X will be more aggressive than the Hyroad Nano, for the lane conditions on the Hyroad X is medium-heavy oil and the Nano is only for medium oiled lane conditions. So the HyRoad X will be more aggressive.

Question:

Does the HyroadX hook as much as the Code X or Code Red and how does it compare to the New Brunswick Quantum Bias ???

10/29/2018 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The key difference between the HyRoadX and all of the other balls mentioned is that the HyRoadX is a mid performance ball for medium to lighter oil and all of the other balls are high performance balls for heavier oil. This would mean the HyroadX is not as strong as the other balls on this list and would be much less hook potential.
