Motiv Forza SS

The Motiv Forza SS bowling ball is the solid version of the Forza bowling balls. This ball combines versatility and hook potential without losing continuation. The Helix HFS (high friction solid) coverstock is fine tuned with a 3000 grit LSS finish. The Sigma weight block in this ball has a low RG and high differential that offer impressive down lane motion. This bowling ball is ideal on medium to medium-heavy oil conditions.

Pros:
Continuation, Predictability
Best Uses:
Medium to Heavy Oil, Variety of patterns
Bottom Line:

Forza Super Strong

The new Forza SS brings back the Sigma core for this release. All I can say is wow about this ball. Never having a Sigma series ball, I wasn't sure how I would like this ball compared to the original Forza and Forza GT. The Forza SS is so much stronger, continuous and predictable then any of the previous Forzas. The Forza GT allowed me to move left with my feet (righty) but never continued that well when I had to open up the lane a little. The Forza SS does all that. I am not afraid to play straighter with this ball or really move left and open up the lane. This ball for me has been great on typical house shots and sport patterns with some oil. The Forza SS allows for high predictability in its reaction yet continues through the pins very well. Those who bowl on lanes that have medium to heavy oil, this is a lot of ball for such a small price point. This ball is also very sharp looking both on and off the lanes and would be a great ball for any caliber of bowler.

Bottom Line:

Strong, continuous, predictable: the Forza SS

Before receiving this ball I did not know what to expect. I love the Forza GT, but I had never thrown a ball with the Sigma core. The Forza SS has been successful for me on medium/heavy oil conditions. Even with my lower rev rate I can see the ball getting through the oil and continuing through the pins, which can sometimes be a problem for us low rev players. I find it stronger and smoother going down lane than the GT. Ball motion is predictable which helps me line up on various patterns. I have used the SS on typical house shot as well as sport patterns and it did not disappoint. Anyone looking for a medium-medium/heavy ball, look no further than the Forza SS.
