Roto Grip Hustle Camo

In sports we are always told to hustle well now Roto Grip is providing a ball that will do just that on the lanes. The Roto Grip Hustle Camo was designed to add variety to the Hustle line of bowling balls. This ball takes a medium RG core and medium differential to create a ball that will offer good mid-lane motion and continuation. The VTC Solid Reactive Coverstock was created to offer a slightly different reaction. With the Versatile Traction Control coverstock finished with a 1500 grit polish this ball offers the right amount of power and control!

Cons:

Little to None

Best Uses:

Any

Bottom Line:

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Very Pleased, Great step up from an entry level ball like a Tropical Surge or Brunswick Rhino.

(Rev Dominant Two Hander) This ball isn't as life changing as discovering urethane for the first time, but it comes close. I love how well this ball handles transition and it has no right being at the price point it is. I found it very good for playing up the right side on most patterns and having all the pins just flush back with a few violent messengers as well. Also just a little tip, instead of prioritizing the numbers the ball has, look up quality reviews on youtube and see if it'll work for you.

Pros:

Smooth rolling, descent curve

Bottom Line:

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Descent ball for the money

This is the ball my son made it on his high school bowling team with. Has done good all season on the traveling team. Not expensive so easier on the pocket for a mid level bowler

Question:

How does this ball compare to the Hustle inc ??

7/25/2021 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

They are very comparable because they have the same weight block and both have a solid coverstock with the same 1500 grit polished finish. The Coverstocks are slightly different which help the Camo read just a little earlier but the difference are very hard to measure because they are very very close.

Question:

My son in law has Storm Virtual Enery and Rotogrip Winner Solid. Will the Camo work for him? He bowls mostly on once a week league in lanes that are medium to light oil. His speed is 15-16mph.

1/9/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

Yes, the Camo would be a good option to use when the Virtual Energy and Winner Solid are too strong on the lanes and you need something for lighter conditions.

Question:

2/1/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The 14lb will have the same weight block as 15lbs and 16lbs.

Question:

Need a ball that hooks more then hassle camo but not as much as the storm physics

2/27/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Storm Phaze 3 or Phaze 4 would be a good option. The Hustle Camo is a mid performance ball for lighter oil and the Physix is a high performance ball for heavier oil. The Phaze line is an upper mid performance ball for medium oil so it should fit well between them.

Question:

Is this a good ball on dry wood lanes?

5/25/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This ball is rated to work best in medium to lighter oil. If the lanes get very dry this ball will probably try to read too early making it roll out flat on the backend or it will hook too much making it hard to control.

Question:

Hooking power

8/30/2022 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

This ball is a mid performance ball designed to work in lighter oil conditions. In lighter oil, this ball will have a strong hook on the backend. As bowling balls have more hook potential they usually work in more oil so compared to all bowling balls this is a lower hook potential ball because it is more for lighter oil but in lighter oil this has a decent hook.
