In sports we are always told to hustle well now Roto Grip is providing a ball that will do just that on the lanes. The Roto Grip Hustle Wine was designed to add variety to the Hustle line of bowling balls. This ball takes a medium RG core and medium differential to create a ball that will offer good mid-lane motion and continuation. The VTC Pearl Reactive Coverstock was created to offer a slightly different reaction. With the Versatile Traction Control coverstock finished with a 1500 grit polish this ball offers the right amount of power and control!

I like a ball that gives me a lot of action in the back end , our lanes are light to medium oil. I am left handed approx 12.5 mph don’t know the revs

This ball is designed to have a good backend hook on medium to lighter oil conditions. There are more aggressive bowling balls out there but usually when you go to a more aggressive hooking ball it needs more oil on the lanes so if you deal mostly with medium to light oil this will be a really good fit.

I throw a 13 lb bowl. With the light bulb core, how is the ball reaction going to be different?

If you get this ball in 13lbs it will have a similar light bulb core but I am not sure how the coverstock would compare to your other bowling ball. If the other ball had a similar coverstock they would probably be similar but if the coverstock was different that could make a big change in the reaction.

I have the storm emerial and bowl on a dry to medium oil pattern would the hustle wine fit as a good ball on this condition or could you suggest something that would be good for me i do not have alot of hand in the ball 71 yrs old.

The Hustle Wine could be a good compliment to the IQ Tour Emerald and the Wine would work better in lighter oil while the Emerald would be more for medium oil.

The Wine has a pearl coverstock while the Camo has a solid coverstock. They have the same weight block and finish so the only difference is the cover. The Solid cover would read a little earlier while the Pearl cover would react a little later on the lane but both are rated for the same medium to light oil conditions.

Yes, the Hustle Wine may get just slightly more length because it has a Pearl cover and the HSB had a Hybrid but they are finished with the same finish and both have the same weight blocks.

I currently have the Rhino. Was thinking of replacing it with this Hustle Wine or the Burner Pearl. Do u think they are all basically too similar or is it worth replacing. I’m a slow speed low rev guy. Thanks

Roto Grip does not list any of their bowling balls in the entry performance category but the Wine would normally fit in that selection. It is mostly designed to work in medium to lighter oil and it has very similar numbers to the Brunswick Rhino and Burner Pearl which are both considered entry performance. I do not see a very big difference in these so it may not be worth getting a Hustle if you have a Rhino but you could look into something a little stronger in the upper mid performance categories or something more for medium oil or medium to heavy oil and stick with a pearl coverstock and/or a polished finish to give you good length for your ball speed.
