The Roto Grip Idol Pearl uses the Ikon core that changed the perception of the HP3 line for Roto Grip. This core has a low RG symmetrical shape with high differential that generates flare as well as awesome motion down the lane and on through the pin deck. The Idol Pearl introduces the xTrax-P18 Pearl Reactive coverstock which was designed to compliment the original Idol bowling ball. This cover is finished with a 1500 grit pad and then polished. This ball can handle most any lane condition but is best used on medium to medium/heavy oil. *There will be some variance in color due to the Nano material. This is due to "phasing". Some of the balls with phasing have a white color in them and some may appear to have water spots.
I love this ball. It gives me a wider range of carry when lanes start to transition. Great shape and great power through the pins. This ball will recover as well as skid when you miss slightly. This is my new favorite weapon in my bag.
This ball is fantastic. I always rolled 14lbs balls and left many ten pins. Since I've owned this Idol Pearl I leave little to none ten pins and bowled my first ever 800 series. Strong down lane power through the pins.
This ball gave me more continued hook than my SonIQ so it fit nicely in my arsenal. Because of it's strong reaction down lane, as they dry out, I can move inside and still carry the corner pins. It is my second strongest ball but even works on medium to light oil conditions. This ball has a nice shape and controllable movement all the way down the lane. I think every bowler should have this in their bag.
The guy that drilled my bowling ball has drilled my last five with no problem the ball seems to work for other people with lower averages I'm not for me I hate to say it but this is the worst ball

hello. will this ball be a good replacement ball for the original dare devil?10/28/2018 - By jpb
This does have some similarities to the Dare Devil but this is going to be a stronger ball and it can handle more oil than the original Dare Devil could. They both go longer on the lanes because of their pearl coverstocks but the idol pearl will be stronger on the backend.10/29/2018 - By Bowling.Com Staff

What is the difference between the Hy-Road and The Idol Pearl3/26/2019 - By TD
The Idol Pearl will be a bit more aggressive than the Hy Road since it is an Upper Mid performance ball and the Hy-Road is a Mid performance ball. The Hy-Road will have a hybrid coverstock which will break sooner than the pearl coverstock which is what the Idol Pearl is.3/27/2019 - By Bowling.Com Staff

How will this ball compare to the Black Widow Pink for hook and strength ?10/21/2019 - By Jenna
They are actually very comparable and are going to give you basically the same reaction. Both are pearl coverstocks with a polished finish for good length. The Black Widow Pink may have a slightly stronger weight block but not by much.10/22/2019 - By Bowling.Com Staff
