Balls with Same Hook Potential, Lane Conditions and Coverstock as the Storm Torrent:

Storm Torrent

Take the Storm Torrent to the lanes and wash out the competition. This bowling ball features the Booster HV (high volume) core which is a larger weight block that provides extra hitting power. The core is made up of a lot of high-density materials that offer consistency as well as forgiveness. The design of this core increases the RG and provides higher flare potential. This ball is covered with Storm's famous R2S coverstock and allows this ball to glide through the front part of the lane and react on the backend. The Torrent bowling ball is finished with a 2000-grit matte finish that gives this ball the ability to dig through the oil on the lanes and give the bowler more control at the backend.

Question:

Is this ball is alike the wipe out storm bowling ball

6/23/2017 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

Hello! This is a great question. The Storm Torrent is extremely similar to the discontinued Storm Wipe out. Both of these mid-performance bowling balls have the same solid reactive cover and are best on medium oiled-lane conditions. The only real difference is going to regard the finish. The Torrent has a 2000- grit Abralon finish while the Wipe Out has a 3000-grit Pad finish. Hope this helps!

Question:

If i get the Torrent in a 13 lb. ball what core will it come with? And what would be the differences between that core and the Booster HV core?

9/1/2017 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

It would either be a light bulb core or a pancake core. The cores will just make it react differently and be less aggressive.
