Question:

I already have the code black and it seems to work best for me late second and into my third game in league, would the code red be a stronger ball to use on fresh patterns?

5/5/2017 - By

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Code Red will be slightly stronger and read earlier on the lanes. The Sure Lock would perform best on heavier lane conditions. There could be another Code coming out and will be a solid and that will be the most aggressive one out of them all.

Answer:

As they said, the core is the same in both codes, leaving the only difference to be the coverstock. The Code Black has a pearl cover, while the Red has the hybrid version. All of this simply means that the Red will begin a little earlier and therefore be a slightly more aggressive. So yes, your speculation was correct, though the gap between the balls is so small that having both likely will not be very useful to you because they are so similar.
