Hammer is bringing the Blue Vibe back to their ball line. Just like the original this ball will provide length with predictability and the versatility you expect. This ball is value priced and ready to roll. This bowling ball is Carbon Fiber Infused! Carbon fiber is one of the toughest materials on earth. Hammer decided to add this material to the inner core of this ball for added strength and durability allowing them to offer an incredible 3 year warranty.
Here is my take on the new Blue Vibe by Hammer. This new remake features the tried and true Vibe core surrounded by the CT Reactive Plus cover. Like all Hammers, the Blue Vibe features a 3 year industry leading warranty.
My vitals are a 405 rev rate and a PAP of 5 9/16 over and 1/8 up. I drilled 2 Blue Vibes, one with a 45 x 5 1/4 x 70 with a weight hole 4 inches over and 2 1/2 inches down.(pin down) I drilled the other with a 50 x 5 x 25 with a weight hole on the PAP. I have used both at box surface (2000 Abralon polished) and 2000 sanded. I have tried them on 2015 USBC Masters and several different THS.
The Blue Vibe was one of the most popular Vibes ever made because of its performance on the lanes. The remake does NOT disappoint! I have an original Blue Vibe with the same layout as the pin down one. In trying both with the same surface, I found the new Blue Vibe to be a board or 2 stronger. However, the original has a ton of games on it and as such, may explain any difference. However, like the original, the remake Blue Vibe gives strong and predictable reads on the lanes. The Blue Vibe is very forgiving and does not over read transitions in the pattern. It is definitely earlier/stronger than the new Cherry Vibe and should excel on many different patterns and volumes. In the past, I have used the Blue Vibe on many different PBA/sport patterns...from 35 feet to 43 feet. The Blue Vibe is potentially that versatile. Between the 2 Blue Vibes I've drilled, I've got an earlier/smoother motion with the pin down one and the pin up one gives me a quicker, stronger downlane transition...2 very distinct shapes. Predictability and consistency are the hallmarks of the new Blue Vibe. I might also add that I have found the new Blue Vibe hits very hard and carries well. Like with any Vibe, as noted, different ball motions can be achieved depending on layout and will suit many different styles of bowler.

I found my league ball! I drilled my Vibe with a 70 x 5 1/2 x 35 layout which but the pin above my bridge. This ball has the symmetrical vibe core along with the CT reactive Plus cover which provides good length with a controlled down lane reaction! This ball is great for light oil patterns. I will try to upload a ball reaction video. If it doesn't work, you can search Average Joe Reviews on YouTube to see this ball go down lane.
Today's the day!!! The Hammer Blue Vibe is available in your local pro shops. I have thrown it on various house shots, and will give my review. I missed out on the originals, but could not miss this opportunity. So far, I am happy with my decision. I drilled this one pin down, and the motion is great for the layout. It is a great step down ball when they dry up a bit, and continues the tradition of Hammer's hitting power. Add this to your arsenal immediately! #teamebi #bluevibe
4 weeks ago strained my wrist throwing my 16 pounders, could not use hand or handle release. The swelling was still there 2 days later for my next league, called up the pro shop, asked if he had any 14 pounders and Robby solid wrist supporters. He drilled the 2 Vibes and with the support of the brace I can bowl.
The Vibe let's me move about the lanes and gives me great reaction without using my hand. Just adjusting ball speed between 14 - 18 mph
Likes: I had the Black Vibe back in the day. I was extremely excited to see this ball remade but in blue with the same cover. I laid mine out almost exactly how my original black one was. Shot 300 game 1 with it as it rolled exactly the same way. This is a stronger entry level so it's nice to see some bang for the buck. Best of both worlds!!!
Get this one in your bag for sure!
You cant go wrong with the purchase of this ball. The Blue Vibe is strong off the spot and super clean through the front. I drilled mine with my favorite layout out. Put the pin at 12'clock and cg in the palm. With my high ball speed and hign rev rate i can open the lane quickly with this ball. Even on high volume oil patterns I can back off the ball speed and still get this ball to go through the pins good. Simply put this ball can boost your arsenal
I never threw the Origional one but, wow do I love this baby!! I went pin up with mine and it gives me length but man does she get up and drive through them pins.. I just can't believe this is a Vibe.. I have never been a huge fan of the Vibe line but, this one has changed that... Can't say enough about her
Nicest thing about the re made blue vibe is it's almost identical to the old ones. If I had to pick anything different, I'd say that the re make backends more than the old one but not by a lot. Great rolling ball in a great price range!

19 year old male. Starting to get into bowling and looking for my first ball. Two handed style, love to hook. Would this be a good first option?9/6/2019 - By Mike
I'm a 175 bowler with a slight to medium hook. Would this be a good ball to have for all conditions9/12/2019 - By Moe
The Vibe is best rated for medium to lighter oil. If you used this in heavier oil it would not give you much hook and would mostly skid through the oil with not much time to react. That would be the only time you may struggle with this but it would work most of the other times with no problems.9/24/2019 - By Bowling.Com Staff
