Crazy pin carry
I use this ball on the fresh. It goes nicely through the pins, and get lots of pin action on the light hits despite having lower rev rate and speed. Bowled 2 of my highest games using this ball.

Lane Monster
This ball cuts through oil like a hot knife going through butter. Very strong in the backend but smooth down the lane. I’m a mid rev player and this ball is a perfect match for my game.

Question:
I have the Eternity Pi and the Reality. Is the Harsh best of both worlds?

The Harsh Reality does take a similar read on the lanes compared to the Reality and Eternity Pi but has been enhanced to read a little earlier and give a slightly stronger overall hook potential to help in the heavier oil conditions.

Question:
How does this compare to the dv8 brutal collision
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
Out of the box the Harsh Reality has a duller 2000 grit finish which will grip a little earlier on the lanes than the compound finish the DV8 Brutal Collision had. Other than that they are both very comparable as both are high performance balls for heavier oil lane conditions.

Question:
How will this compare to the Black Widow 3.0?
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
The Harsh Reality is listed in the high performance category and while the performance from the weight blocks may be close with the Harsh weight block reading a little earlier, the coverstock on the Harsh Reality will give this ball a higher hook potential to handle heavier oil a little better.

Question:
If I don't have a big hook would that be a good ball for me
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
This ball was designed to have a high hook potential and can handle heavier oil conditions. That will be true if you have an average ball speed and average rev rate. If you have a lower rev rate then this ball will hook a little less and it may work down into medium to heavy oil for you. However, if you do not want a ball with a lot of hook you could look for a ball more suited for less hook in an entry or mid performance ball designed for lighter oil conditions.
