Get a life, a Savage Life! Columbia continues their Savage line of bowling balls with the high performance Columbia Savage Life bowling ball. This ball introduces the Exciter Pearl coverstock and pairs it with the low RG, high diff, high mass bias Savage core. This combination offers good length with an aggressive backend motion on medium to heavy oiled lanes. This ball utilizes Columbia's HyperSHOCK Technology to assist the ball in powering through the pins.
Really like everything about the Columbia 300 Savage Life. It is a high performance ball that you can use late into tournaments as it still gets down lane easily and has plenty of power at the pins. I think you can use it on just about all conditions. It has a strong motion off the end of the pattern but it's strong/smooth for me. In overall board coverage I compare it to my Track Paradox v but a different, slightly smoother shape. Very versatile ball.
Love this ball. Very clean through the fronts and a lot of kick on the backend. I am able to move in and open up the lane. The ball Is a machine going through the pins!
Is the savage life stronger than the motiv forge2/26/2019 - By Steve
The Forge has a solid coverstock and the Savage Life has a pearl coverstock. Usually solid coverstocks will hook sooner than pearls. Solids are usually stronger than pearls as well.2/27/2019 - By Bowling.Com Staff
i have the statement pearl, is the Savage life better then the Statement Pearl?3/5/2019 - By Manny
currently i have the halo and the halo pearl in my bag. Im not crazy about the regular halo and im very partial to pearl cover and a more snappy reaction. Based on that will the savage life hook more or less than the halo pearl?3/12/2019 - By AJ
I am not able to tell which coverstock is stronger from the descriptions but they have very similar features and I would think they are going to be about the same strength and hook about the same amount.3/13/2019 - By Bowling.Com Staff
How does this ball compare to just the Savage4/23/2019 - By T. Wood
The Savage is a Solid coverstock and the Savage Life is a Pearl coverstock. The Savage Life will have more length than the Savage.4/26/2019 - By Bowling.Com Staff

Can this ball be used when it's not that much oil8/16/2019 - By Zan
This ball is a high performance ball so it is going to have a high hook potential and it also would need medium to heavier oil for this ball to work well. In lighter oil it would be very hard to control and would not give you its best results. I would not recommend this for lighter oil conditions.8/20/2019 - By Bowling.Com Staff
